Decided to give them another chance after several months. Despite noting the allergy in the order, my nachos were made with sour cream, but they were, I think, remade quickly. Just like last time, service was poor. I did note that one of the workers went around, asking each table except for mine, how their food was, and if anything was needed. My table was skipped for whatever reason. It wasn’t the manager who was working at one of the tables in the back. Overall, portion size was good and food was fine, but given the poor service each time, I will likely not be returning.

Myself and my family/friends all ordered online my food was supposed to be ready by 12:24. It never happened!! Literally about an hour and a half later orders weren't done, some orders sat on the counter and weren't being called, some tickets had fallen down on the counter and not picked up. Asked for my order to just be canceled and refunded my money was told I would have to come back in the morning for a refund because that's when a manager would be there. The girl working the front was rude and had an attitude. I ordered a drink about 30 mins after I had placed my food order and the girl put it up as a food order ticket instead of just fixing the drink right then and when i did inquire about my food order they had lost my ticket for the food but still had the drink order in line amongst 50 others. When I finally did get my food 2 hrs later Icouldn't enjoy it because I was mad and no longer hungry. Food was good what I was able to eat of it but the service was horrible. If ever visiting Atlanta again I definitely won't go back to this restaurant!!

I had a very disappointing experience at Talkin Tacos. The customer service was extremely poor, and the wait time for my food was unacceptable, especially considering I had already placed my order ahead of time. There was a clear lack of organization, and it didn’t seem like staff were concerned about how long customers were waiting. To make matters worse, after eating, my entire party ended up getting food poisoning. This was very concerning and completely ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I would strongly recommend improvements in both food safety and customer service.

This was our first time here. I saw an ad for the guacamole on Facebook. And it looked super delicious and also for the tacos. So when I was in Atlanta to visit my son I thought this would be a good place to try out. It looked like it had a good ambiance and the food looked wonderful. When we got to location which wasn't far from where we were by Georgia tech. We found good parking or plenty of parking. When we got in the building wasn't as big as I thought it was but it was visible from the street. When we got inside there was an area where people were sitting in kiosks to order food through them. So you can go sit down and wait for your food or you could go to the counter and order and sit down as well if you had any questions in person. Also, the pickup was also there. If you ordered delivery or pickup. The kiosk seemed pretty easy to use. Was a little question on the prices on the little menus they had which they did not have prices on the menus. The only prices they had were some they had online or on the kiosks. Me and my family of four ordered two of the carne asadas tacos. The crunchy wrap, also the burrias ' quesadillas. Guacamole which that's what I wanted to get and beans and rice which all came with chips except for the beans and rice. So us, as a family of four all shared little bits and pieces of each other's food to try everything out. Everything was so delicious and filling. I also had the horchata drink which was really delicious and my son had a lemonade drink which was really good. And of course the Mexican cola. The atmosphere was really good. Neat designs on the wall. Something you take a picture of and post. It was a little dark though. So it was kind of hard to see each other's faces. Maybe a little more lighting I get. They had the black lights to make it all pop. The only thing the downside to this place is the price was very high for three tacos. Some were 13 and some were $15 for three tacos. No chips, just tacos. No beans, no rice as like a meal you were thinking you were going to get. Now if you had three tacos with a bowl of beans and a bowl of rice and some little bit of chips then this would probably be a good price for $15. My total price came to about that $100 and that's with no tip. I believe that were requested tip on there. Not sure if it was added or not but I did tip the waitress which she bought our food out to us and she was very nice and pleasant and very helpful. So her name was Leticia and I believe she's from Texas so we got excited cuz we're from Texas. Also. We will probably come back again but next time order just two items to share between the four of us cuz we had a lot of food and was overly stuffed and if we would have known who would have ordered less. Thank you for the experience.

🌮 Talking Tacos: A Flavorful, Halal-Friendly Taco Revolution! 🌶️✨ We found it, everyone—a delicious Halal taco spot in Atlanta that actually lives up to the hype! Located on Piedmont Rd, Talking Tacos is a vibrant, colorful, and culinarily cultural experience that you need to put on your map immediately. 🥩 The "Birria" Experience with a Twist I’ll be honest: I don’t usually go hard on red meat. I typically prefer white meat, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone here and try something new. I went for what I can only describe as a thick, hearty taco filled with pulled red meat—it had the tender texture of a brisket without being "too briskety." It was topped with traditional onions, but here is the kicker: Crushed Takis. 💥 You might think the Takis would make it overwhelmingly spicy, but they actually provided the perfect crunch and presentation. 🥣 The Broth The real game-changer is the dipping broth. It looks simple, but when you dip that taco, the broth makes the entire meat combination extremely juicy and flavorful. It’s almost as if the broth "steams" all those fresh ingredients right in your mouth, unlocking layers of flavor you didn't know were there. It is truly an experience! 🌮🔥 🎨 Ambiance & Visuals The vibe inside is exactly what I look for: low lighting that feels intimate and cool, paired with colorful, cultural decor. They have screens showing off their different dishes, and every time I go back, I see something new and think, "Oh yeah, I’m trying that next time!" It’s the kind of place that keeps you curious and hungry for more. ⭐ The Verdict If you are looking for a spot that respects your search for Halal options while delivering bold, creative, and juicy flavors, Talking Tacos is it. Between the Takis crunch and that savory dipping broth, your taste buds are in for a treat. Five stars for the juice, the crunch, and the culture! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
