So I had to drive up the street to another location because this one decided they were only taking door dash orders at 11pm. I understand it’s late but it says you guys close at 2am so it’s this is the case you need to update that online stating no drive thru order can be placed after a certain time and for clarification I asked the other location I drove to why this one decided not to take any orders and they said it’s not supposed to be like that. This is a great way to lose business wasting peoples time sitting in a line for no reason

Placed a mobile order in advanced on the app. Told the girl one of the items didn’t register that it’s supposed to be black beans and not meat. She made me pay an extra $3 at the window for black beans instead of meat and then still the entire meal had meat, I couldn’t eat any of it… I’ve been vegetarian my entire life so this could have made me super sick. Disappointed because at some point this Taco Bell was good.

This Taco Bell was in the midst of closing down all their food lines at 9:40 PM. No food got made until they put down what looked like garbage bags on their food line to switch over to their late night service settings. They did not use any of the utensils you are supposed to use for servings which led to me getting almost no meat on my entire cheesy gordita crunch, a five dollar taco BTW. I also paid an extra one dollar for extra cheese that was nowhere to be found. So of course I spent a lot of time there waiting on my food and the results were subpar. Give people what they pay for and put the fast back in fast food.

Arby’s Greek gyro with extra tziki OTS is better than anything at Taco Bell but everybody is too busy viviendo más to notice so the Arby’s near me is barely open 10am-10pm while Taco Bell is printing money all night because there is relatively low elasticity of demand with strong brand equity. Taco Bell could serve spicy mezcal margaritas with cross branding from @TajinMexico @WTRMLNWTR How Strong Brand Equity Drives Inelastic Demand Reduced Substitute Availability: Strong brands differentiate themselves, making competitors appear inferior, which minimizes the perceived availability of substitutes. Brand Loyalty & Emotional Connection: Customers often develop an emotional connection to a brand, making them less price-sensitive and less likely to switch to alternatives even if prices rise. Status Symbols: Products with high brand equity, like luxury goods (e.g., Louis Vuitton) or popular technology (e.g., Apple), are sometimes considered Veblen goods, where higher prices can increase desirability as a status symbol. Increased Willingness to Pay: Strong brands build trust and reputation, which directly increases consumers' willingness to pay a premium, allowing companies like Levi's to raise prices by 10% without losing sales volume. Business Implications Revenue Protection: In periods of economic downturn, brands with low elasticity tend to retain revenue better. Pricing Power: Companies can increase prices to improve revenue without experiencing a significant drop in volume. High Switching Costs: Deep integration of a service (e.g., B2B software) or high emotional loyalty lowers elasticity because the perceived cost of switching is too high
