  My first experience at Rahim’s was my last. If you’re ordering inside make sure to bypass the individual/ automated terminal and go to the window to place your order with an actual person! I paid $23 + for a fish sandwich I waited for an hour for but NEVER RECEIVED because, along with everyone else, that ordered at that terminal the orders didn’t register in the kitchen. We were all disappointed to have $drafted from our accounts to be told, even after proof of payment from banking institutions, if the orders couldn’t be verified in their system then they WOULD NOT MAKE THEM!! I’ll never go back 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

  I drove 35 minutes to this restaurant. There was no greeting at the door,, There was no air conditioner only a huge fan hanging from the ceiling, The workers were rude, The food was overcooked and overpriced. If you have a taste for good seafood this isn’t it! The food was inadequate, below substandard, and old. The Customer service with horrible And I will never ever ever go back. I ordered the seafood platter… The coleslaw was too sweet, the tartar sauce had no onion or pickles, The onion rings, shrimp and fish was ALL OVERCOOKED! I regret taking the drive wasting my gas and my money.

  Tried Rahim’s Seafood Spot recently, and unfortunately this was not a good experience. The place itself is very small with limited seating, so it’s more of a grab-and-go setup. I called ahead and the interaction over the phone was just okay nothing terrible, but it lacked professionalism. When I arrived, there was a clear sign for pickup, so I stood there waiting. For about 5 minutes, multiple staff members looked at me and said nothing. It took the sixth person to finally ask if I was there for pickup. That lack of basic acknowledgment is unacceptable. Now to the food it simply did not deliver. The hush puppies were extremely oily, the chicken wings were tiny (no bigger than my pinky), and the catfish had no flavor at all. My wife ordered whiting, and it was just as bland. For spending around $70, this was very disappointing across the board. Customer service and food quality both matter. Regardless of the location or size of the business, there should be a standard of professionalism and pride in what’s being served. This experience missed the mark in multiple areas.

  So I finally talked my mom's into going to Rahims and the only thing that disappoints me the most is being influenced by influencers to try something and my food looks a lil different then what brought me there... I ordered the battered wings I wasnt aware I had to ask for sauce because mine unfortunately did not have a lot of seasoning and moms ordered the shrimp and wings and was a lil underwhelmed that she only received 7 wings and 6 shrimp and a lil handful of fries for $26... but the fish and hot wings my brother ordered was great though didn't realize that the viral fish sandwich is a super deluxe so that was my fault for not asking and assuming it was the same thing so ill only post those pics... now I will say this was our 1st time going so I didnt know it was a certain way to order things... maybe next time I should just show the video of what I want so I could have the same great experience lol overall it was okay but for all the hype I was just expecting a lil more thats all...

  WARNING 🚨 I went to this restaurant with high hopes after seeing positive reviews on social media, and I even drove 40 minutes to try it. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. It’s currently 4:15 AM, and I’ve been up sick since 2:00 after eating there (the only meal I had all day). I ordered two fish sandwiches, the Rahim sauce, a small fry, and strawberry cake. The fish sandwich was overwhelmingly salty and severely over-fried. The fish was so overcooked that there was no flaky texture - just hard crust with a thin layer of dry fish inside. The excessive salt made it nearly inedible.i couldn’t eat it anymore. To make matters worse, I was charged $2 for a very small (2 oz) portion of sauce that tasted no different than basic chili sauce. I normally don’t leave detailed reviews, but this experience was too bad to ignore - especially since it left me physically sick. It’s frustrating because I genuinely try to support local, community restaurants, but experiences like this make it difficult.
