Like ketchup with fries at McDonald’s, it’s a small but expected part of the meal. During a recent visit, I was surprised to learn that I would be charged for parmesan cheese. When I asked about the change, I was told it was not a corporate policy but a decision made by this location’s ownership. That explanation left me disappointed, as it felt less about necessity and more about prioritizing profit over customer experience. Understanding that this is not a company-wide policy makes the situation more frustrating, as it creates inconsistency across locations. Unfortunately, this decision has negatively impacted my perception of this specific store, and I will likely avoid returning in the future.
