- BBBeamer6 days ago1.0I’ve been a loyal Panera customer for years and have always had positive experiences, but this visit was extremely disappointing. I ordered bagels around 9:00 AM expecting them to be fresh, but they were hard, cold, and felt like they had just come out of a refrigerator. When I asked if they could at least toast them so they’d be edible, I was told they couldn’t touch them because I had already picked them up and they were now considered “contaminated.” The only option they offered was for me to warm them in a microwave myself. When I first walked in, I went to the register, and despite 3–4 employees being behind the counter, no one greeted us or acknowledged us. We eventually gave up and used the kiosk to place our order. This is not the level of service or quality I’ve ever experienced at any reputable bakery, especially not Panera Bread. It was a frustrating and disappointing visit.

Even though the ticket was already active, the system automatically removed my breakfast items because the payment was processed after 11:00 AM. Additionally, the menu design is confusing. Breakfast items are placed at the end of the menu, requiring customers to scroll through everything else to find them—even in the morning. It’s frustrating that the system is “smart” enough to cancel a breakfast order at 11:01, but not smart enough to prioritize or display breakfast items at the beginning of the menu during breakfast hours
