  I really wanted to like O-Ku because the space is genuinely very cute and the ambiance is great, especially upstairs on the outdoor patio with the city views. Unfortunately, the service made the experience pretty frustrating. Our servers were friendly on the surface, but they forgot half of our order and we had to ask multiple times for basic things throughout the night. It wasn’t just our table either; it was clear other guests were also waiting on items that never showed up. We did eventually receive a couple of the missing dishes after following up again, but another item still never came and we finally just gave up on it. What made it more disappointing is that the restaurant did not seem busy enough to justify that level of confusion and lack of attention. I’m not sure if the issue was with the servers or the kitchen, but either way it felt disorganized and not in line with the type of experience you’d expect at a place like this. The ambiance and patio are lovely, so I might give it another try someday, but only if the service improves.

  Had such a great dinner here for my birthday last night. Our server was THE BEST she ran through the whole menu for me, gave great recommendations, and had great service throughout the night. The staff was also wonderful with the personalized menu and they even gave me a fun birthday present activity, a mini book nook. Super happy with the memorable experience!

  Allena was amazing!!!! We love oku soo much, the food is always great and vibes are amazing. Allena this time around was so special and so knowledgeable about everything we were eating

  Sushi and Nigiri here was exceptional. Best I have had across multiple cities. Jimmy and Emma were wonderful and very attentive. Emma's Lychee martini was also phenomenal. Just amazing all around. Thank you Oku!

  O-Ku Atlanta 5 stars This place actually gets it right. Got the spider roll. Crispy, fresh, no BS. Just done properly. You can tell when a kitchen knows what they’re doing vs just throwing stuff together. Wagyu steak was the standout. Cooked perfect, super tender, flavor on point. Didn’t try to overdo it, just high quality and executed right. Service was smooth too. No waiting around, no weird energy, just handled. Overall clean spot, solid food, no complaints. I’ll be back.
