  We Door-dashed our meal, and it was excellent! We both ordered greens as a side along with fried catfish and ox tails. Everything was seasoned well and flavorful.

  Found this place on TikTok and I seen that they served chitlins. Was very excited since this is Something I only enjoy during the holidays. I was very disappointed when I walked in to order said item. $25 for a small side cup of chitlins and $40 for it to come with two sides. 😒 that’s crazy insane when you can buy a BUCKET 🪣 of chitlins for what they sale as a side. Why are overcharging like this????? Treating chitlins like it’s a lobster dinner is INSANE!!!

  I like to start off with positives first. The guy serving the food I think his name was Lil Mark, he had amazing customer service, also the fried shrimp is phenomenal. I was a little confused on why a 3 veggie plate at $16.99 would be priced higher than the quarter chicken plate which they were completely out of at 15.99. The cook said it would be 40 min on the baked chicken so I decided to just do veggie. Veggie plates have always been the cheaper dish at any soul food restaurant. I was super excited to get the dressing which they were out of cranberry sauce so I didn’t get it. I was with my Homegirl who ordered the whitening and shrimp for us to share while I did the veggie plate. I had to wait 20 min for the Mac to finish baking so the fried items should’ve been dropped closer to when the Mac was done or even after. The older guy immediately dropped them and by the time my food was ready; 20 min later, the fish and shrimp were cold. The cornbread that came with our meal was extremely hard so I wasn’t able to enjoy that with the yams. I could barely break it in half. Also the Mac was super loose and runny since it had just came out the oven and maybe needed to cook a little longer. The potato salad and yams were good but overall didn’t enjoy this experience. I have 20k followers on Instagram and I always do a good review and shout out but decided not to since the experience wasn’t as enjoyable as I preferred. We also sat on the patio which wasn’t clean but we did bring wipes to clean it up before sitting.

  I ordered Uber eats for pickup simply for convenience. The order was canceled by the store for some reason, however I wasnt notified until after I got to the store.. When I arrived, the store was still open and actively taking and fulfilling orders.. what was the purposed of you accepting the order in the first place? Makes no sense.

  Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I placed an order online and received a confirmation. 30 minutes later, I arrive to pick up my meal. I give my name and after looking up my order, the man at the counter tells me they are out of what I ordered, which was catfish. Then why wasn’t the item blacked out online? Although annoyed I tried to pivot to the fried pork chops. I was told they were out of that as well. Again, why are unavailable items still available for selection online?
