I hosted my 30th birthday party here, which turned into a surprise engagement and it was absolutely perfect! The food was AMAZING and the staff was soooo sweet. A special shout out to Latoya for being so gracious and personable during the planning process. Please don’t think twice about booking!!

If you’re looking for a vibe, great food, and amazing drinks all in one spot—this is it!
I visited Miss Conduck and from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was on point. The lighting, music, and overall setup give you that perfect Caribbean lounge feel. It’s definitely a place you can relax, enjoy yourself, and even turn up a little.
Now let’s talk about the food… everything was flavorful and cooked just right. You can tell they put real care into their dishes. And the drinks? Top tier! Not only were they good, but they were beautifully presented—definitely giving island vibes.
The staff was friendly and attentive, which always makes the experience even better. You’re not just another customer here—they make sure you’re taken care of.
Overall, I’d give this place a solid 10/10. Whether you’re going for a date night, girls night, or just to unwind, this spot delivers.
I’ll definitely be back!
We took a large group of middle school students here, visiting from Seattle. Latoya and her mother are the owners. They greeted us warmly and seated us in a large, comfy back group. Latoya welcomed our group with a brief history of the restaurant, which was a great story! Hung on the wall are the portraits of each first post-colonization leader in the Caribbean. They had set up a serving station with delicious and varied choices for our students: white rice, rice and peas (which are actually beans!), potato curry, roasted corn salad, jerk chicken, fried chicken, plantains, and dinner rolls. Each student filled a plate and went back for more, at least once. Several proclaimed it the best chicken they’d ever had. Sadly we couldn’t sit at the bar, but the cocktail selection looked plentiful. If the drinks are half as good as the food, you’ll be thrilled. This restaurant was our last stop in Atlanta after a week in the Civil Rights trail. It was delicious, cozy, plentiful, and unique. Definitely worth another trip to Atlanta and we will insist on stopping here with our students next year. Highly recommend!
All the stars! Oh! Where to begin! First, I loved that they had their own free private parking, which in Atlanta is a huge plus! The space was very surprising as from the street it looks small and almost unassuming, but when you walk through the door, the space opens up to the most beautiful decor, opulent seating and the bar was GORGEOUS! They also have a beautiful outdoor patio and an area that can be booked for private parties. The host Ken was welcoming and very helpful. The bartender greeted us with a smile and provided fantastic service (my blackberry lemon drop was perfect). Now for the part you really want to know about...The food...OMG the food! I placed a to-go order (I wish that I had the time to dine-in), I was starving so I opened my food to take a bite in the car and when I tell you that it was SO GOOD, I went BACK inside just to tell the chef how good it was and how I would be back again soon and would be telling everyone about my experience. The menu said that the meats were marinated, but lots of places say the same thing and only have surface seasoning. I ordered the Stewed Chicken Main and EVERY SINGLE BITE was bursting with flavor and so tender. To say that I am impressed, is an understatement. The place is so beautiful I started planning how I could hold a private party there. My visit to Miss Conduck was like finding a hidden gem and I HIGHLY recommend dining there! (I am not a friend/affiliate, just a woman who loves great food, excellent service and ambiance).
As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean restaurants, I have to say—Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own.
From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor.
We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done—definitely a solid starter. I wasn’t a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn’t take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it’s due—the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night.
Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I’ll admit—I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point.
I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind—not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie—it’s a smaller portion, but it’s true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly—hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture.
Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick—but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there’s a subtle heat that isn’t overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be—perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked.
One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly.
Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn’t packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible—it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of.
All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you’re in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor—whether you eat meat or not—Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.
