We chose Tiny Lou’s to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed by the attention to detail.
Since our very first anniversary, we’ve always made it a tradition to celebrate at nice restaurants. There’s usually a small but meaningful gesture something as simple as “Happy Anniversary” written on a dessert plate that makes the evening feel special and memorable.
While our waiter verbally acknowledged our anniversary, that was where it ended. We were then handed the check, which made the moment feel rushed and flat. For a restaurant with Tiny Lou’s reputation, we expected a bit more thoughtfulness when it comes to celebrating a milestone occasion.
For a regular dinner, this restaurant may be fine. However, if you’re celebrating a special occasion and looking for that extra touch that elevates the experience, this would not be my recommendation.

Maybe we were at different place than other reviewers? As it's a restaurant , let's start w the food, husband started with Mussels, there were maybe 8 and a huge splat of white thick cream on top, of the hundreds of times eaten I've never had them served that way and would not want again. He had fish on my recommendation as red fish so wonderful, the portion was not only super small, but flavor unimagined and ordinary. Veggies were burned yet cold. My duck confete had been waiting in liquid to be seared, which the skin was nicely crisp on some portions, but a more neglected dryer piece of duck I've never been served. Poor bird died for a lousy preparation. Our wait staff was enthusiastic I will say but lacked training. The red wine was brought out w a chilled bucket, when we asked to have it decanted it was quickly arranged and as she poured it into the decanter she made sure to shake the bottle to get "every last drop". Sadly sediment is in those last drops. I know French portions are small, but there was no consistency, we ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and they were the best thing we had all night, piping hot and delicious and large portion, who knows? Lastly, there were many open tables, 6+, and yet we were led to a bankette between two other sets of diners, so the 6 of us felt like we were sharing a meal. Not necessary when there is room for diners to enjoy conversation at their own table. So, if you like pink Formica tables, reminiscent of an ice cream parlor, crowded surroundings, mediocre food, and inexperienced wait staff this place for you. Otherwise, hard pass for us.
Came here to celebrate my engagement with my fiancé and it was perfect, we’ll be back next year to celebrate our anniversary, there’s not a better place in town. The wait staff signed a card to congratulate us and it was waiting for us when we sat down, I am floored with the above and beyond dining experience we had tonight.

Antoine was perfection! He was so warm and friendly. Myself, my husband, brother in law & his wife had brunch together at Tiny Lu's. The food was fantastic and delicious. I highly recommend the deviled eggs. We had such a great weekend & brunch was the best way to end the weekend. Thank you again Antoine!

If a Parisian bistro, a jazz-age supper club, and a very confident cocktail had a love child, it would be Tiny Lou’s, tucked inside the delightfully eccentric Hotel Clermont.
My wife and I stayed five days at the hotel and - purely in the name of research - managed to eat our way through breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner here. Not a weak link in sight. That kind of consistency across meals is rare; Tiny Lou’s makes it look effortless.
Let’s start with the room. The décor is playful, classy, and just weird enough to be interesting - pink neon, brass accents, and a vibe that says “yes, you should order another drink.” Speaking of drinks: the lead bartender upstairs clearly didn’t just memorize recipes, he understood the assignment. Every cocktail was balanced, confident, and dangerous in the best possible way (see photographic evidence of glasses that absolutely did not stay full for long).
Food-wise, Tiny Lou’s punches well above its weight. Steak frites arrived properly cooked and unapologetically rich. Duck confit was crisp, indulgent, and deeply French without being fussy. Breakfast somehow managed to be both comforting and elevated - eggs done right, waffles with restraint (a rare virtue), and fruit that tasted like it had been invited on purpose rather than added for color.
Service deserves its own applause. Warm, attentive, genuinely friendly, and completely dialed in - no hovering, no disappearing acts, just people who clearly want you to have a great meal. It showed, every single time.
Bottom line: Tiny Lou’s isn’t just a hotel restaurant you tolerate because it’s convenient. It’s a place you return to on purpose, even when you’re not staying upstairs. We came for the hotel, stayed for the food, and left plotting our next visit. Five stars, zero hesitation - and yes, order the cocktail.
