Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable bed and linens. Nice touches like in room Nespresso, robes and slippers. Ate breakfast on property and staff was excellent. Opportunities for improvement lie with the front desk. Very long check in lines in the evening with one attendant as well as lack of concern at checkout that my room had no air conditioning. Otherwise great facility but enough of a miss for me not to visit again.

Went valentine weekend &table had portion missing (see below), restroom had no toilet dispenser & they had the roll hanging on a piece of the broken holder!(decided not to take that picture). Poor selection with breakfast buffet. Restaurant was subpar at best. Service was ok. Basically for the upscale reputation it was very disappointing. For some reason I expected white linen tables and a beautiful table setting. It was quite the opposite! I have dined in France, Italy, Dubai and more so I know fine dining! It was hard for me to write this review but I do not want anyone else to have to experience the disappointment! I do not recommend this place!

For those looking for a reason to splurge at an upscale restaurant, Nobu provides the perfect, unique experience to do so. At $80 per person, their Sunday Brunch brings back the classic “eat to your heart’s content” mentality that leaves you feeling that your money was well-spent on a well-rounded experience and a more-than-full belly. There are plenty of options to sample and plenty of time to go back for more (two hours per table), so come with a prepared appetite!
I must commend - more than anything - the incredible service, both during the brunch experience (fast turnaround times, plenty of people taking up old dishes, new rounds of food coming out constantly) and during the reservation booking process. We had to adjust our booking multiple times and were met with the most understanding staff, which I am beyond grateful for. Would recommend coming to all!

Nobu received me on a Friday eve, and though these far-flung outposts do begin to flirt with the feel of a grand chain, this one held its ground well. The ambience struck a proper balance, lively yet composed, and the staff were, as ever, gracious and attentive.
I took my customary old fashioned in hand and then set upon the sushi, which proved A1 and worthy of the house’s name. The craft was there, steady and confident, and the meal unfolded just as it ought.
A small counsel to the wise. If thy schedule allows, slip in during the early afternoon, when the mood is calmer and the experience more relaxed. In that quieter hour, the place shows itself at its best.

My husband and I had reservations at Nobu for New Year's Eve. The decor was festive, yet the lighting was moody. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Nicole was our server for the evening. We started with cocktails and appetizers. Nicole recommended a few dishes, but because of our food allergies, we avoided the fried items. Still, we managed to try a good variety of food.
For drinks, I ordered the lychee martini, and my husband chose the Nobu Old Fashioned. The lychee martini was refreshing and sophisticated. The Nobu Old Fashioned was bold and smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño, New-style sashimi-Wagyu, Black Cod with Miso, Miso Soup with Tofu, and Wagyu and lobster tacos. All the appetizers were tasty, but the Black Cod with Miso was the highlight. Full disclosure: we were quite disappointed with the tacos. The pictures are very misleading, so if you're considering getting them, I strongly advise against it -- don't waste your time or money! We also ordered sushi. We tried the House special, baked snow crab, and the blue oh toro. All the sushi rolls were delicious. To finish the evening, we had Japanese French toast and a Cappuccino. It was the perfect ending to our dinner!
Nobu was definitely an experience; however, it's not really worth the value in my opinion. I'd definitely go back someday, but now I know what I'd order the next time around.
