Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

This was my 4th time coming to nobu. 1st time actually having a table.
I was about to leave 1 star overall but I have to be just. My other experiences with food gear has been good.
I’m not going to complain about pricing like everyone else does because this is an upscale restaurant you should expect nothing less. Also I believe they source their food organically and gmo free at least thats what one of the managers mention to me and is a big reason I ever even consider eating here.
My last visit which was today. We had the tiny crispy tacos and they were good as always.
The vegetable roll was descent which was suppose to be for my son but he didn’t want it.
The octopus was descent. A little too salty for me but still ok.
The salmon was ok I liked that it was crispy with the skin on it. Lacked a defining taste to it but overall descent.
The cauliflower it was prepared with was some of the best I have ever had. Pretty much saved the day.
Would have been nice to get a real complimentary birthday dessert though.
Service was descent as well.

We had an excellent meal at Nobu that also happened to be extremely expensive. All of the food was great, drinks were great, service was great, and then that bill drops.
I guess Caviar, Truffle, and $100 bills on every dish is worth it to some, but for me, there are many Sushi restaurants in greater Atlanta where you can have as good of a meal (or better) for half the price.
Even still, the servers and cooks don't decide the menu prices, and they're all doing a spectacular job creating great experiences. If you know walking in that you're spending a months rent for a studio apartment in Midtown, then have a blast.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
We brought our own birthday cake and were informed of a $30 cake-cutting fee, which we completely understood and accepted. However, when we decided not to cut the cake and simply asked to keep it sealed in its bag under the table, we were told this was not allowed. Instead, we were instructed to take the cake back to our car—which was already parked. That request felt unreasonable and unnecessary, especially for a fine-dining restaurant during a special occasion. We almost wanted to leave at the point.
As for the food, it was underwhelming for the cost. I gave 3 stars because the sushi rolls that we ordered were good, but nothing memorable. We ordered the $175 omakase (6 courses), and each course was literally one bite. After spending that amount, my teenage sons were still hungry. For the price, the value simply wasn’t there. I would absolutely not recommend the omakase.
Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the reputation or the price. Between the rigid cake policy, average service, and lackluster value, this was not the birthday celebration we had hoped for, and we won’t be returning.

Hats off to a 10/10 experience. From check in, to departure. Im never a fan of switching rooms, but my initial room didnt heat up. They sent the engineer and it wasnt a quick fix. Immediately Darren personally came to offer to help with luggage to switch us to a new room while Naqueisha was swiftly switching us to a new room. They both had us switched before I could even have a chance to find a reason to complain. The service and kindness was top tier. Although we had to switch rooms. The kindness of the staff made it all worth while, the cleanliness of the hotel, the food quality, the nice gym, everything was great. I asked my kids if we should try another hotel for our next staycation, they simultaneously said NO!! So I guess we officially team Nobu now! Truly have to thank Darren and Naquiesha for the extra mile of customer service

We were staying at the Nobu Hotel and had breakfast at the restaurant. The food was very delicious, but the service was horrendous. I’d give the service a 0 star if I could. The staff constantly forgot about the customers after they were seated. Never came up to take orders or give out the check. They were constantly either folding napkins or setting all of the empty tables that had no customers. This is extremely disappointing service given such a nice hotel and good food. I guess sometimes people rely on the laurels of a name and just decide they don’t have to do their jobs?
More details: Once seated, the service staff basically forgot about all customers — every table. We had to wait 10 mins before anyone realized we had not been given a menu or drinks. Then it was another 10-15 mins actively trying to get someone’s attention to take our order, but every staff just kept their eyes glued anywhere but at customers. It took another 15 mins before food came, but asking for the check was the hardest part. We asked one server for the check, and they completely forgot. We tried again with another, and finally got our check after 20 mins of trying. The family in the other table noticed our wait time and quickly discussed getting the check immediately after the food arrived. They also wait 15 mins before anyone asked them for their drink order.
