  I bought a catfish dinner with creamy nasty corn and collards greens no taste and ordered cornbread which I paid for but did not receive I ordered sweet tea and got a sprite and paid 40.00 for what a nasty meal I will never order there again

  The food was amazing. First time tying it , will be back to try other things on the menu. Lucky had the best attitude and was so helpful at recommending food . He even gave us some tips on stuff to do in town ☺️🙌

  Okay so this is a 100% honestly review. Door-dashed $80 worth of food and here is the breakdown...... Cons: Was missing the $10peach cobbler. The pork chop was fried not smothered as ordered. The baked chicken comes with rice which is not specified so I got double rice but it comes with NO GRAVY and no option to add gravy (assumed it would come as it's pictured) rice was dry with no seasoning. The baked chicken was super dry which was super awful because there was no gravy to assist Pros: Mac and cheese and collards were good along with the punch. Had really really high hopes for the cobbler (after all it was in the name) but never got a chance to try it. Called the restaurant simply for a resolve on the smothered pork chop and the missing cobbler and was told to contact door dash. Currently waiting on door dash to approve a refund because they would not give me a re order option. Try at your own risk. They may have some good days but unfortunately this was not one of them.

  Very delicious food, mac and cheese was OFF THE CHAIN YUMMY! Smothered Turkey had me licking my fingers and the collard greens and black eye peas taste straight from big mama's kitchen! The peach cobbler is simply devine! I usually don't try out restaurants with less than 4 star rating but so glad I went against my rule. The 3.2 review rating is inaccurate. Amazing and friendly staff too!

  Food was okay !!! Definitely not worth the price ! I ate here yesterday traveled 2 hours to try it out & paid $94 for 2 plates . They give you alot of food but it’s not all that great . My boyfriend got the rib plate with 2 sides , his sides were mashed potatoes and black eyed peas . He said the black eyed peas was 1 out of 10 , didn’t really have a taste to them like they just boiled them in water . He said the mashed potatoes was regular mashed potatoes nothing special. The ribs he gave a 8 out of 10 they gave him like 4 big ribs , and he said they was tender . He said they was the only thing decent / good on his plate . I got the oxtails plates over rice , with 2 sides . The oxtails was okay I’ll give them a 6 out of 10 , only cause the gravy was good , the oxtails itself was very slimmy but the gravy was on point . My sides was Mac & cheese & yams . The Mac & cheese was okay it wasn’t nasty but it taste like pepper , it was okay tho , the yams was good just very very very extra sweet . The texture and softness was on point I would have gave the yams a 10 if they wasn’t so darn sweet like way too much sugar & vanilla attract it was it gave . If they calmed down on the sweetness it would of been a 10 but I’ll give it a 7 or 8 only because it was way too sweet , I also added dressing , & chitterlings . The dressing didn’t have a dressing taste like they didn’t use sage or poultry seasoning to give it the dressing taste it taste like regular corn bread covered in turkey gravy & it was very WET & soggy . Wasn’t terrible but definitely could of been better . & the chitterlings wasn’t even chitterlings they was definitely hog mogs instead & was very salty & rubbery . I paid $30 for a bowl and it looked amazing but the look didn’t match the taste . I hate when people sell hog mogs and lie and say they are chitterlings . They price is way too high for them not to be chitterlings as we was told . He also let me sample the collard greens & they was good but not like how grandma would cook them , they was sweet & tart . Not terrible just not what I expected from TikToks I have seen which is what made me travel and want to try . He also let me sample the peach cobbler & it was nasty . Very dry , crust had a strong weird taste definitely don’t understand why it’s called peach cobbler cafe cause the peach cobbler was very nasty and dry I didn’t like it 0 out 10 ! Both plates came with corn bread & the corn bread was very dry & looked like a pound cake I thought it came with cake until I realized it was corn bread but it wasn’t really sweet just the color of pound cake and very dry . Meals didn’t come with a drink . For the price I would expect a drink but I’m not trippin . Definitely wasn’t worth $94 . They give you a lot of food but it’s not very tasty like you would expect. Overall I’ll give this place a 6 or 7 out of 10 . $55 is what I feel is reasonable for everything we bought . But definitely not $94 . Wouldn’t eat here again but I’m not mad that i gave it a try ! Just not worth going back nothing special about this place . If your around it and hungry it’s a cool spot to try out but definitely not a place to keep coming back too. Costumer service was great though !!
