The employee was an African American woman with a ponytail, wearing a black polo shirt that said “Sunrise.” A customer said “hey” to get her attention, and she responded by saying, “don’t hey me, I don’t like that,” in a harsh and disrespectful way, as if the customer had done something wrong on purpose. The employee was loud about it, and another worker with dreadlocks and a face mask, who was prepping food, clearly heard and was discussing the situation with her. The entire interaction was very unprofessional. If this is how customers are spoken to, it is completely unacceptable. The behavior of the staff during this incident was disturbing and reflects very poorly on this location.
