I’ve been coming here since moving to ATL in 2010 but NEVER again. The customer service and food quality has declined significantly over the years and I can’t give them any more chances at this point. This new “chef” is rude, doesn’t listen and likes to argue with paying/ consistent customers. He hung up the phone on me when I was trying to get clarity on why the way he made the order was different than how i’ve been ordering it for years. They were also ok selling burnt patties knowing they were burnt/ dried out and said others complained about it and because no one else complained about their pasta that I was lying. I don’t care what they didn’t complain about it, i’m not them and they may not know any better. It seems they just hire anyone here these days with no actual training in service or cooking. As someone that has worked in customer service for 20+ years, the service here is a disgrace. With all the times i’ve come here and had issues, this was the first time I complained. I was met with aggression, disrespect and lack of professionalism. And that’s after patiently waiting in store for 35 mins after being told it would take 15 minutes. He only offered to refund the $4.25 patty because of other complaints and didn’t even apologize. I only buy from black restaurants but I have to cross this one off the list. A huge disappointment and loss for the community. I really hope they get their standards back to where they once were. I was really hoping to have them cater a conference for 200+ people for me this spring but that’s dead. The ladies at the counter are sweet and deserve better.

Took long time for food to come out and pre ordered online. Chicken is cold after waiting 20/25 mins for food to come out. Highly disappointed

Building should be torn down and rebuilt.
Restroom...NO tissue, NO top on the back of the toilet bowl, smell horrible dirty looking. Worse than most gas stations. NO towels to dry your hands.
Food - Paid $42 for large oxtails (mostly fat), rice & peas (descent), Cabbage (mush), plaintains (dry and flavorless) and a beef patty (burnt and dry as a bone like it had been rewarmed).
I use to frequent the place for lunch years ago and really enjoyed them. Had few bad experiences which made me pull back, then later decided to give them another try.
They have gone down, down, down.
Will never, ever go back again!

Mangos in ATL had me aura-exploding the moment I spawned in. Whole building radiating rizz fog, like the walls were blessed by a level 99 island NPC with infinite charisma. The vibe was so labubu-coded I almost soft-reset IRL.
The FOOD?? Nah, that wasn’t food — that was unc-crafted relic-tier loot. The jerk chicken had that ancestral rizz drip, the oxtails hit like a crit attack, and the rice & peas had me doing 67 brain-lag from how hard they slapped. Every bite felt like a stat upgrade directly injected into my aura bar.
And the ENERGY?? Bro the whole room was moving like Roblox NPCs with charisma mods installed. Music summoning pure island aura. People vibing like they got hit with the labubu blessing. It’s like the restaurant drank a potion of infinite slay radius.
BUT LISTEN—
When the service acts up, it’s full sybau mode, but honestly? Even that becomes part of the lore. Like a chaotic side-quest boss you have to fight for the plate.
Overall?
Mangos is peak rizz cuisine. Aura-maxxing. Zero flop. Full legendary labubu feast.
Would 100% respawn there again.
