- HHHumble HomesNov 1, 20251.0**They removed my first review, so here's another one with the receipt.** August 31, 2025 I drove to Atlanta from Columbus. It took almost TWO hours to get to this place. I had never eaten here, but saw a TikTok review and decided to try it. The woman at the counter was eating when I walked up to order. That was bad sign number one. I ordered fried chicken, mac& cheese and yams. No collard greens or string beans were available (I was told). I got my food and when I sat in the car to eat it (as I was on my way back to California) I was extremely disappointed. The mac & cheese was dry and hard, like a block, the cornbread was not good either, the fried chicken was OK, nothing special but the yams were good (tasted like pie). I would not have rewritten this review, BUT FOR me finding this receipt and remembering how someone from this company replied to my last review with aggressive untruths. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food took so long felt it was waste of time to complain. Ketchup packets he put in our bag were also sticking together since one probably burst in the container. I was with a group and this was the first place we ordered from. We ordered other establishments and everyone else received their food with 10-15 minutes. Why did it take 30 minutes for a smash burger and fries 🤷🏿♂️. There was no line when we ordered.
