However, when I got home later, I realized they had given me the wrong order. I spent $18.08 and essentially received nothing. I went back the next day to try to get a refund, but despite having a digital receipt, they told me they couldn’t issue one because I didn’t have a physical copy. In reality, I was never given a physical receipt with my food. The only suggestion the employee had was that I wait until 5:00 PM for the general manager to arrive. Mind you, it was 3:30 PM when I got there, meaning I would have had to wait an hour and a half just to get help. I then spoke with a representative online who keeps asking me for information that I have already provided, yet they are not proceeding with resolving the issue. Who knew you could essentially be scammed at Chipotle.
