  Shakay was soo amazing and took such great care of us. She also had great recommendations for our weekend here in Atlanta. We got the BLT which was delicious!! Thank you for a wonderful first meal in Atlanta!

  Upon arrival you are greeted by a nice young man with seasons greetings. Put us in the holiday spirit. With validation we paid around $5. Great since it is in the city. We ordered the French toast with peaches, which leaned more toward slices of wonder bread with only a hint of peach flavor. The standout was the single-serve real Vermont maple syrup, which definitely helped. I had tea, and it felt worth the price — it was loose leaf, not bagged, and generous enough to serve more than one person. My mom ordered eggs with potatoes and bacon and really enjoyed it; everything was cooked exactly to her liking. My husband had the vegetable omelette with potatoes. It was fine, but the overall experience felt very corporate and somewhat overpriced — not surprising given the location and the fact that not much is open on Christmas morning. Service started off strong. Our original server was wonderful but had to leave for Christmas Mass, which was completely understandable. Unfortunately, the gentleman who took over never checked on our table. My mom eventually waved to another server (which I hate doing), and I was close to getting up myself to ask for help. Thankfully, the server who stepped in was exceptionally kind and attentive, which helped recover the moment. Overall, the staff was pleasant and the room nicely decorated, but the food and service were uneven for the price.

  Mediocre food (nothing special) but awful service. They sent in the order for my dad’s burger incorrectly and it didn’t come out until we were finished eating, and they didn’t even comp it for him. they gave us one free dessert to make up for it, and neither the waiter nor the manager apologized. Unacceptable. Plus tips are built in and they gauge you.

  My friends and I visited for Christmas Day. The restaurant is beautiful, as is the lobby and staircase. I am so happy this site was saved. Elida was our server, and she was absolutely delightful. She took great care of us and made the evening rememberable. The food was delicious! Get the buttermilk cornbread muffins! You will crave them the next day. We also had the risotto, short ribs, pork chop, and trout. Everything was cooked to perfection. By George is a hidden gem in Atlanta. I highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed. Thank you all for a wonderful Christmas dinner.

  I had high hopes for this place. I sat at the bar, ordered a glass of red wine once the bartender finally recognized me sitting there. I placed my order for a salad. The plate of greens at first glance was appealing. My fork was ready with my first bite. Steady now, I look at the bite as I move my fork closer, noticing the spring mix, wilted. Chewing a slimy piece of green slimy, wilted leaves became the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten. I put down my fork, pushed away my plate, asked for the check. The bartender asked me if I wanted a to go box, I replied no. Then both bartenders appeared to be interested as to why I didn’t want to take the salad with me. I replied the salad is wilted. It’s barely 730 in the evening. I had high hopes for this place. The one bartender that took my order then says oh you should’ve ordered the arugula salad. Oh really where was that recommendation when I placed my order? Then the other bartender said oh we can take the salad off your bill. No thank you, as I had every intention to eat that salad and more. Not only was I disappointed in the food. I became very disgruntled with the service.
