Very welcoming. We ate ethiopian food for Christmas. The kids enjoyed the rib tips and I enjoyed the vegetarian combo and the sambusas were very food. 10 out of 10 on service, the restaurant was clean and it was open on Christmas day.

Visiting Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant is always a delight for anyone craving authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. While I don’t often frequent Ethiopian restaurants, Bahel remains my top choice whenever I do.
On a recent Saturday, my cousin and I decided to have a late breakfast, early lunch date at Bahel, and it did not disappoint. We kicked off our meal with “lentil sambusa” , paired with a hot, seasoned tea that perfectly complemented the dish. For the main course, we shared the “Veggie Combo” and “Mushroom Dulet, both of which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
While the Veggie Combo was a hit, I felt that the Mushroom Dulet could benefit from a touch more seasoning, perhaps adding some “Mitmita” and “Korerima “to enhance its flavor profile.
The service was another highlight of our visit. The two waiters attending to us were friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal.
Overall, Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant is a standout choice for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Ethiopian flavors, and I can't wait for my next visit!
