I love curried goat so I decided to try this restaurant. Very disappointed. For the price those few pieces of goat meat wasn't worth it. Thought I had found a Jamaican restaurant that I could frequent since it's in my neighborhood. The plantain was good thats for the two stars .

Food is better doing the day. More fresh. But still good. My jerk chicken was cold. This was that evening round 6 or 7

I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience. I visited this location a few times, and didn’t have any complaints never the best but good enough to come back. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. I should have known once I peeped the 75 health score 🤮 I walked into the restaurant at 12:55 p.m., hoping to receive the lunch special. There were a couple of people ahead of me, and I ended up being checked out at 1:02 p.m. I asked if they could still honor the lunch price since I had arrived and placed my order before 1:00, but I was told no because the special ended at 1:00 p.m. It was frustrating, especially since there was only one employee handling orders and checkout until someone came from the back to help. I assume the system automatically removes the lunch special after 1:00 p.m., but it still felt unfair given the timing. My total came to $20 for a small jerk chicken and a beef patty. I have never had Jamaican food that was so dry and bland. Even with the jerk sauce, the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. The rice was hard and dry, and the cabbage tasted watery and unseasoned. I ate a few bites and threw the rest away, which I never do because I prefer to finish what I pay for. However, the food simply wasn’t edible. This will likely be my last time eating here, which is disappointing because it’s the closest Jamaican restaurant to me. UPDATE: Based on your response I absolutely will never come back. I never went back and re ordered anything so before you accuse a customer of anything please make sure YOU get your facts straight. I’m pretty sure I know exactly what I ordered, how much I paid and how many people were in front of me. And your score is very much posted on the wall. You all need a food seasoning class and definitely customer service. Your responses to each of your negative reviews shows why so many are unpleased. Instead of blaming customers take heed to what we are saying and improve. Be blessed 🙏🏽
