  Order a quarter pounder with just onion and ketchup, waited over 20 minutes for the quarter pounder that didn’t even come out right. The manager, I’m assuming, went out for a smoke broke, came back in didn’t wash her hands, and continued to handle food. Will not be back to this location.

  We come every week and if we order MC flurry or shake they tell us the machine is down .. then we came drive Thru they have 2 lines ordering. While we were ordering the guy said be right back and the other lane had 4 customers cars ordering and went ahead of us we were waiting before the guy got back to Finish our order, I was mad we must have waited 30 minutes before the employee finished taking our order, . I got a small milkshake that day by the time we got to pick up order the milkshake was completely melted and no good. The employee knew it was like that but no effort to make a new one. So I brought it home and put it in my freezer had to eat it like was just frozen ice-cream. What is wrong with with this hwy 29 Athens Ga Restaurant, even the buns are hard on the sides. I see everybody else review they have the same problem as us please retrain your staff. It's got to change. Thank you, Tracey Athens Ga

  I’ve tried this McDonalds 3 times in the last 3 years, each subsequent time thinking “they must have improved by now”!! Nope wrong!! First time, drive thru, gave us completely wrong order not even close. Had to park and go inside and present my receipt I guess because they couldn’t handle it in the drive thru. Our order was over $30 but they gave us a bag with a Big Mac and fries. When I explained to the gal at the counter what happened she didn’t believe me and went back to the drive thru staff to confirm that I had brought it to their attention. She came back to counter annoyed and told me they would make up a new order. 15 minutes later I had my fill and just loudly demanded a refund, which someone else had to take care of because the original gal disappeared. The second time about a year later we had our young niece and nephew with us and went inside to eat. Ordered our food and when the order was ready we went to get some ketchup and the bin was empty, no big deal. When I went up to the counter and asked for ketchup I was very very rudely told that the ketchup was out in the restaurant by the napkins and straws. I explained that I checked there first and it was empty. She obviously didn’t believe me as she stormed out from behind the counter and proceeded to point to the empty bin without actually looking in the bin. I said “yes I understand but it’s empty”. She then looked threw her hands up stared at me and yelled someone was supposed to fill it and stormed away. We never got ketchup. Today was my third attempt to patronize this dump. Drive thru again. I guess I threw them a major curve ball by ordering a hamburger, fries and a shake. They handed me the shake first. Turns out the outside of the container was coated with whipped cream which means I got it all over my hand and then steering wheel. I had to ask for napkins to clean up the mess. I then was ask to pull up to the last window to get my food. I sat there for over 5 minutes and was looking up their phone number to call and ask about my order when a guy finally came up with my food. As I drove away the car in front of me was still waiting for his food and was standing outside of his car shaking his head. Naturally my burger and fries were cold. Miserable experience every time Serves me right giving them the benefit of the doubt. NEVER AGAIN!

  Didn’t deserve a star at all but had to give one for the review Calling corporate tomorrow I ordered food in mobile app all I needed to do was give a code, go through drive thru and done, right?? From the time I ordered my food, drive 10 minutes to get food , waited in line for over 50 minutes. Would have left but I already pre paid when I placed my order, got to the window and got one excuse after another ( confusion in the kitchen, wrong orders given out). So as I’m waiting for them to try to get my food together, which they gave me someone else’s order🤬 I decided to call the store and I spoke to management, she also kept making excuses and at this moment I knew it was management!!! Whoever they hired to manage evening shift on a Thursday night (3/12/2026) needs to be fired!! Not one time did SHE take accountability for all the “wrongs” that she was suppose to be managing, unprofessional and rude to not only me(paying customer) but also to her staff!! I’m calling corporate in the morning! On top of all of this, I got home and was vomiting 🤮 what I had just ate🤬 My advise, go to another establishment. As for me I will never eat at McDonalds ever again and advise everyone else not to also!!!

  Just went through the drive thru and the lady came to the window and said “no one knows what they’re doing here so I don’t know what your food is going to look like” I got a burger and no one knows how to cook a burger ? At McDonald’s ? Waited 15 minutes to get the cold wrong order. & No manager on the clock. Don’t even come here, go to the Burger King across the street,
