I literally waited 40 minutes to order. And before I start my review, I just wanna say I've never posted a bad review on anybody and I'm 30 years old with four kids, but this is something that I absolutely had to post about because this was complete nonsense. I am no stranger to fast food. I used to work at Arbys and Firehouse subs both as a manager, which really makes me even more mad because there's no reason people should be acting like this in the store where they're serving people. I waited in the drive-through and when I got to the window, they told me if I wanted to place an order I needed to come inside while everyone else behind me continue to place their order. I couldn't understand why she said I needed to come inside she said that as soon as she said, welcome to Wendy's, I didn't even have a chance to say anything. She just told me to go inside If I wanted to order. It just so happens that this was my son's birthday and he specifically wanted Wendy's, so I really tried to wait it out. I went inside and the girl at the front counter with braces didn't say anything. I walked up to the register she didn't offer to take my order she just kind of stood there and made me feel really awkward so I asked her about the four or four and she really didn't give me any details or explain what the price chain was she just handed me a separate paper that explained it and then walked away, and I had a few more questions, but she was bagging up the drive-through orders and laughing with the back line guys while I'm standing there needing to order so I can get back home for my son's birthday. I literally waited in the store for about 30 minutes and by that time I was so fed up because I was about to get rude so I decided just to walk out and go to McDonald's. Because lately the McDonald's on 29 definitely out beats the Wendy's on 29. It seems like every time I go there they're always joking and complaining about serving their customer And it takes forever to get through the ordering process and even longer to get your food. It's no wonder business has backed away from this place because you can definitely tell that they don't care about their job and they don't want to take care of their customers. I was literally in and out of McDonald's within 10 minutes in the drive-through with hot food and was able to get back home for my son's birthday. Like I said, I've never done one of these bad Google reviews, but I was just so upset on Thursday that this happened considering it was his birthday and I couldn't get anybody to take my order in the drive-through or in the front counter and it was freezing that day. I just wanted to grab some food and get it home to my kids to celebrate the birthday. It seems like every time I go to Wendy's on 29. It's always some problem so this will definitely be the last time that I give it a try.

We had a great experience with Wendy’s while organizing catering for our workforce development organization and nonprofit in Athens. Bobbi and the team were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. We were hosting a solar installation bootcamp, and having fresh, delicious food ready for our students kept everyone energized and focused throughout the day. We’re so thankful for Bobbi and Wendy’s partnership in helping fuel the next generation of solar professionals!
