The food is excellent, the atmosphere cozy and romantic, but the thing that makes this an outstanding experience, the service - or more specifically - the people.
We have been there 3 times and each time the knowledge, personality and professional service stands out. Leslie served us earlier this month and made a gathering of friends a memorable night. Charles served us most recently and provided a 5 star experience.
Ok , yes, you are going there for the food as well. But good staff help you choose excellent menu items.
On this trip we had scallops, swordfish and the porterhouse steak. All were prepared to perfection.
Great drinks, good wine selection.
Overall a wonderful place for a special time with friends or loved ones.
Valet parking is super convenient too! It's in the Rivet House hotel. Off the beaten track, but a beautiful location.
It's so nice that Athens has a nice high-end place like this.
And it's so nice to get high-end service!
Highly recommend.

We wanted to love this place! It is modern and beautiful and so disappointing! The service was very slow, the bartender was so busy making drinks for the whole restaurant that she did not pay any attention about the people at the bar. Additionally, she was a bit unsanitary. Dirty hands touching money then ice. The food! Ugh! The artichokes were literally canned, the cacio de pepe was homemade pasta that tasted like straight flour and it had no taste at all. The foccacia was just ok. It was served with honey and it went everywhere because they serve it on a board so it just drips off. The manager made a comment that it always happens, why don't you change the dish it is served in? Overall we were just sooooo disappointed. We travel frequently to Athens and we were hoping to get good Italian food. Not here.

I went here with my sister for Galentine’s brunch, and we were gravely disappointed. We started with some cocktails and focaccia, which were pretty good. Our main courses, however, were subpar at best - the caccio e pepe pasta was cold, and the sauce was very thin and bland - I’ve had more satisfying pastas from Trader Joe’s for a fraction of the price. We also split a margherita pizza and quiche - the margherita pizza was slimey. Both the pizza and the quiche were heated in the wood fire oven, and it was obvious - both were overwhelmingly smokey and completely ruined both dishes. The quiche was literally just eggs and onion. For a total of $130, this meal was bland, smokey and slapped together (cold pasta and food that absorbed too much smoke). We loved our server and the ambience, but we’re sad to say we will not be returning.

We went for Valentine’s Day brunch and we were so disappointed. The cocktails were watered down, the food was cold bland and everything had this overwhelming Smokey flavor that was almost inedible. The quiche was quite literally just egg and onion with a side salad of dressed arugula. The service was probably the only reason I gave this review two stars instead of one as our server was incredible! All in all don’t waste your money you will get better food at Olive Garden.

This is truly a gem for Athens, on of the most thought out and articulated hospitality establishments around. My wife and I arrived around 5p.m when they opened. We had valet our car(which valet guys were great) and our experience continued to elevate. The host( I believe it was Jordan) at the door greeted us with a welcoming smile. Our server Leslie was amazing! She had lots of knowledge and the perfect balance of personality. She was sharp, witty and knew when to be present and it was never too much. We got a lot of food and everything was top notch. We started with focaccia bread and charcuterie board and THE MEATBALLS 🔥 for entrees we had the roasted chicken, the scallops(scallops are next level 😘👌🏾) and finished off with the donut holes. The management staff even came by and introduced themselves and made sure we were enjoying every course. Highly recommend Osteria Olio and if you have the chance to stay at the Rivet hotel attached you will be blown away by its modern yet timeless look.
Thanks Brian and Emma for a great evening!
