Unfortunately this experience was like I was eating at a completely different restaurant altogether. My sandwich was soggy (I had the Italian) and the pasta salad was both limp and bland. There was no self-serve table with pickled vegetables, which was really disheartening. Service was pretty good, and the staff very friendly. The only issue was that the kiosk for ordering stated that they were all out of desserts, but when I later asked about it they told me they did have some dessert, after all. Speaking of the dessert, the whole reason I was craving Newks was for the chocolate cake. I was in for yet another disappointment. It was dry, and a completely different recipe from what I was used to in the Mississippi restaurant. V

And one of the things that I like best is that I have never been served a salad at Newks that has questionable lettuce in it! (Salad Lovers, you KNOW what I mean!!) Newks is my place of choice when I want a salad and my husband likes mixing things up by choosing different items for his combo meal.
