  My family was disappointed in the food. Indian food is our family favorite type of cuisine. It did have some flavor, but was the least flavorful Indian food we have ever eaten. I would consider it bland by my Indian food standards, but there was definitely some flavor in there. For example, we could taste the tomato sauce flavor in the chicken tikka masala. My husband described it as tasting like tomato soup, though I didn't find it that extreme. The masala dosa was also relatively bland. The butter chicken was our favorite and had a smooth buttery flavor, though still not very flavorful overall. The rice and naan were great (peshwari and plain naan). We went at peak busy time on a weekend night, and did not realize how much of a backlog there was for filling orders. That surely impacted the service rating in we waited a long time for the food. The people were nice, but just extremely busy.

  This place is a great boon for people looking for Indian food in Athens. It is the closest in taste to back home though some of their dishes are less spicier or more sweeter and cater to American people. Chef P is super warm and inviting and is open to customizing dishes according to our preference. Goat Biriyani, Goat Lababdar, and Beef Curry, with either Malabar Porotta or Garlic Naan, are some of my favorites!
