UPDATE : I came back to this CAVA location today with my family, hoping my last experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, the same employee was rude again, this time to my sister. She politely asked about purchasing sauces and Persian cucumbers, and the employee responded by telling her she “didn’t know what she was talking about” and to just go to the front and let them charge her. The tone was dismissive and completely unprofessional.
At this point, this is a pattern, not an isolated incident. As paying customers, we deserve to be treated with basic respect. It’s uncomfortable and upsetting to repeatedly experience this kind of behavior, and it makes us question whether we are being treated differently on purpose.
I really hope management takes this seriously and addresses it, because no customer should feel disrespected or unwelcome when spending their money here.
And wouldn’t you know no one answers their phones PATHETIC!!

I usually consider this CAVA location in Athens to be one of the best, which is why today’s experience was so disappointing.
Several key ingredients were out of stock, including olives, Persian cucumbers, and fire roasted corn. I was told they were short staffed, yet there were multiple employees present. Proper preparation and stocking are part of providing a consistent customer experience, especially during peak hours.
What was most frustrating was the lack of customer service. While I was asking if olives could be restocked, the employee handling my order, whose order ID was AC2LDNHJACEL, refused to add the missing items or offer any type of solution or accommodation. There was no effort to resolve the issue or show understanding.
I paid $40 for two bowls and did not receive the quality, service, or experience I have come to expect from this location. CAVA is known for exceptional service, which is why this experience stood out in a negative way.
I hope management addresses both the stocking issues and customer service training, because today’s experience was far below the standard this location normally delivers. & to put the icing on the cake when I contacted them to get corporates phone number no answer. if I could give zero stars I would!
