Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers consistently reported long wait times, often exceeding 20 minutes for orders, which is unacceptable for a fast food restaurant.
Food Quality
While some customers enjoyed the food, many noted issues with cold or improperly prepared items, including stale fries and incorrect orders.
Cleanliness
Several reviews mentioned that the restaurant and restrooms were not well-maintained, with reports of unclean conditions.
Staff Attitude
Customer service experiences varied widely; some employees were praised for their friendliness, while others were described as rude or unhelpful.
Management Issues
Frequent comments indicated a lack of effective management and training, leading to poor service and operational inefficiencies.

I come here consistently throughout my work week and more often than not they're incredibly slow and run into issues that withhold customers.
Just spent twenty minutes in the right lane for it to get ignored, pulled around the building in the left lane to get to the kiosk of the left lane and told to wait, I left five minutes later.

This is my second attempt. First one, the cashier J was absolutely pleasant but I ended up with fries instead of onion rings. This time the manager gave me free onion rings, and they forgot that until I mentioned it, the chicken sandwich looks absolutely depleted and not fresh missing a few ingredients. Need I say this is not a place I will visit again.

I went to pick up a mobile order. We waited 30 minutes on the drivetrhu, asked three times, and they even took my phone to “confirm” the order. No one came, and at the end they didn't even know I was there. I had to leave my car and ask again, and the employee was super rude after I asked!!!

Great breakfast food. Biscuits at this whataburger are always the perfect amount of doneness. Not a huge fan of whataburger lunch or dinner but their breakfast is the best around. Plus they give free coffee to vets.

Awful experience! Don't have both lanes open if your not going to treat them equally. They literally served 3 people before me after taking my order and payment. Terrible, and not mention they are very very slow at this location all the time. Very disappointing.
