  Went inside and ordered to go and the Red Ponchatrain fish shrimps and crab dish was great. The only surprise was the pineapple slices that I had to remove because allergic.

  Went there for fat Tuesday. I noticed there was no band and it was pretty quiet. Food was fantastic and so was my wifes drink the swamp thing. The service started out slow but the server was really great.

  The staff here are so very friendly and kind. They're helpful and skilled. It's a highlight! The decor is matched to the cuisine and was updated for Mardi Gras. The mixed drinks are great. The Swamp Thing! Food is average; you wont find big cajun spices here, so safe for most palettes. On my recent visit I loved that the food came out hot! So many places bring warm food that's cold by bite 5. There's a huge parking lot, but its full on peak days/hours, so plan for that. Nice outdoor areas.

  I paid 75$ for a half live lobster supposedly and a tuff 16oz Rib eye the servers were not paying attention and had gave my food to wrong tables while other patron breathing all over my food wow totally unsatisfied!!!!

  My husband and I went to the Alpharetta location on Valentines night ( 2/14/26) and when we entered the door the girl at the front saw us come in and did not acknowledge us. She turned and kept looking at the tablet. I thought she was doing something important so we waited for her to finish. When we realized she wasn't acknowledging us, I went forward and asked her about us reserving a table. She looked annoyed and said there was a 2 1/2 hour wait and we close in 30 minutes. So I asked does that mean we can't reserve a table and she said no. I said I wish you would've told us when we entered because we've been standing here waiting. She replied a little louder and annoyed, "I didn't even see yall come in" this is what upsets me because it's her job to greet customers coming in and put their name on the list which is what I told her. The way she responded is also not very professional. She's the front of the house which is a very important job. Maybe she wasn't trained properly because she seemed young but I think this is an opportunity for training. We love the food at Pappadeaux's but good customer service is essential and this turned us off of this location.
