  We visited The Oak on vacation and haven’t stopped talking about how amazing this restaurant is to our friends! When we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles. A very gentle upscale ambiance. Our server, Saji was friendly and accommodating and took time to explain the menu and wine selection. The food was absolutely delicious! The shrimp appetizer was so flavorful. But the steak was my favorite! The perfect seasoning and melt in your mouth perfection! The best steak I have ever enjoyed! The desserts were phenomenal- a masterpiece on the plate a delight on the palate! Perfect ending for our wonderful meal! Thank you so much!

  We chose this restaurant for what was supposed to be an incredibly special evening — our delayed Valentine’s Day, our anniversary, and a celebration of opening my business and completing a successful first month. We spent just under $400 expecting a premium, memorable experience. While the service was good and the food itself wasn’t bad, the overall experience simply did not justify the price. My wife’s steak was cooked to medium rare as requested, but the exterior was noticeably dry. I was glad I added butter to mine because it helped offset the dryness — and we noticed the table next to us also had butter brought out for the same apparent issue. For nearly $400, we expected exceptional quality and attention to detail. Instead, it felt average with a luxury price tag. Unfortunately, the night felt like a missed opportunity for what should have been a memorable celebration. We won’t be returning, and based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it at this price point.

  I chose this restaurant because my man wanted to do a staycation close by. We enjoyed our food, my cocktail was good, and Melissa was a good server. The off putting part was seeing one of the managers (we had a white guy come by our table but saw a Black guy) walk past us twice. The Black guy had full conversations with everyone else, even a table right next to us that was done. We actually noticed at two different times and he then asked me did I notice that. We didn’t expect special treatment as one of the two Black couples seated, but that was not okay to us. Why not just speak? No one else was skipped. We went and had several drinks elsewhere because we did not fully feel welcomed. I work with restaurants on reviews and I know not much can fix what happened. This is really to make others aware.

  This is an amazing restaurant. From the wonderful atmosphere, to the delicious menu, it never disappoints. However what stands out the most is definitely the impeccable service my family gets from everyone here, especially Kasandra with her unmatched hospitality and table side manners. I can without a doubt say I’ve never quite had service as great as I have with her. 100 out of 10, 5 stars isn’t enough for this restaurant.

  Mixed feelings about our dinner this evening. We prefer to sit at the bar regardless of the restaurant so we arrived right at 5pm and had our choice of seats. We ordered a cocktail to start then a bottle of wine to have with dinner. The bartenders were very inattentive, not busy and indifferent to our presence. We had to grab their attention to order anything, there was no follow-up to see if our food was satisfactory and we poured our own wine throughout the meal. Not the level of service I expect from a top steakhouse.
