  We had been here once before and really enjoyed ourselves and we've also been to their sister restaurant, Oku, for our last anniversary which we loved, but this past week on 4/15 my husband and I went to Colletta for our 9th anniversary and had a bit different of an experience. Our server was super lovely and they provided us some complimentary focaccia and a little cannoli cream dessert which was so sweet of them. We each ordered a cocktail, then for dinner I got the ravioli and my husband got the rigatoni, and for dessert he ordered a strawberry rhubarb crostata to go. But, shortly after our dinner my husband got the worst case of food poisoning ever. He got so very sick for several days and even got a 104°fever and had to go to urgent care, and honestly even 6 days later still isn't back to normal and can barely eat. In 9 years I have never seen him that ill. I reached out to Colletta a couple days ago but haven't heard back yet. It's sad because our first visit was so nice and we raved to everyone about it but after this latest experience it is hard to trust again or recommend.

  We had such a great experience last night, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Averie. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave amazing recommendations, especially when it came to the wine selection. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about making sure guests have the best experience possible. The food was absolutely delicious, but her service truly took the whole night to another level. She was attentive, friendly, and made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Averie if you go — she made our night!

  My family and I had a fantastic time at Colletta the other night! Our waiter, Ryan, was incredibly attentive and gave us great recommendations. He selected a few appetizers for us that were big hits! I highly recommend Colletta as a great place for family or date night with the elegant atmosphere and delicious Italian food!

  Disappointed!!! Reservations at 630, seated right away.....waited 10 min before anyone came by for water, drinks,etc. Ordered appetizers, took a while,grilled octopus, chewy chewy chewy, meatballs cold. Flavors were good but chewy and cold, not much. It's been 25 min since apps served, still no mains, it's pasta,how long does this take!..... Waiter just stopped by to say kitchen is backed up. Ok food finally arrived, 45 mins after apps.... Main dishes are good, and hot. Alpharetta has so many wonderful places to choose from, up your game Colletta.
