Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported long wait times, incorrect orders, and poor customer service, indicating a significant operational problem at this location.
Food Quality
While some customers enjoyed the food, many complained about cold meals, incorrect items, and overall poor food quality.
Staff Attitude
Several reviews highlighted a lack of urgency and professionalism among staff, with some customers noting rude behavior and a general lack of care.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was noted to be clean by some customers, but others reported unsanitary conditions and a lack of attention to cleanliness.

As someone who is from Texas this place give Whataburger a bad name. 30 minutes for 2 Hamburgers and FF. Then they forget the drinks and spicy ketchup. Something has to change or yall can close the doors now. Jorge the manager doesn't even know what's going on, employees in the back arguing. I'll just wait until I visit my family in TX once a year before I ever go here again.

I've been to this location twice. Both times the food is over cooked. Onion rings were almost burned. Burger was dry and not tomatoes on the burger. We will not go back. So many better choices around for a burger.

The burgers were dry and flavorless.
2nd time I've tried this restaurant. 1st time after it opened. Not impressed. And I've ate at the restaurants in Texas.

it’s honestly ridiculous how long it takes to get your food here. i work as a manger at a fast food place and it’s unbelievable that it takes this long for even a simple burger. they truly need to start over with this location and bring in new staff.
staff is extremely rude, and i understand having a hard time working fast food, especially dealing with rude customers, but it doesn’t take much to put effort into not being straight faced with an attitude when a customer says please and thank
you.

They literally cannot follow directions! Im pregnant and I said no salt, no pickles on my hamburger and melted cheese. Literally everything and the chick at the windows has ZERO personality, no ambition to work, no one here cares to work, like why are you even here?!?! No customer service. Except the manager he actually was able to tell me he will redo my order. But honestly this whataburger should fire people that refuse to work and want to truly satisfy the customer. Hence why I paid almost $20 for literally a meal with a kids meal. The service here is horrible!!! I rather go to Alpharetta.
