Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers consistently reported long wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, for their orders.
Order Accuracy
Many reviews highlighted issues with incorrect orders, with several customers receiving wrong items or missing components.
Food Quality
Feedback on food quality was mixed; while some enjoyed the burgers and shakes, others received cold or poorly prepared items.
Customer Service
Customer service experiences varied, with some praising staff friendliness, while others reported rudeness and lack of urgency.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was noted as clean by some, but others reported unsanitary conditions and poor maintenance.

Ordered two plain sandwiches and one normal. Waited almost 15 minutes for the sandwiches to be made wrong. Ordered a large unsweetened tea. They gave me a large sweet tea. I asked to have it fixed. They handed back a medium sweet tea. You cant make this stuff up. Food was cold and way overpriced for the quality/wait time.

I've been to this location twice, and twice the burger I ordered has ingredients I didn't ask for on it and the ones I did order I didn't receive. After the first time, I was willing to give another chance but now I will not return.

I’ve been here more than five times and have never been disappointed. Yea it takes a little longer when they’re super busy of course what else would you expect.
People have always been friendly and the food is always hot and cooked fresh to order. I recommend this whataburger.

My son wanted Whataburger for his birthday breakfast- on our trip home to FL where we do not have Whataburger anywhere near us. GPS didn’t put us to arrive until 11am so I called. There was no answer but Tyrese, the manager working this morning called me back. I explained and he said he would make sure our son got his birthday breakfast. It was cooked to perfection and our birthday boy got his favorite breakfast. Thank you, Tyrese for going out of your way for this. It’s the simple acts of kindness like this that brings the biggest smiles and memories! We will be back when we are back in GA. Thank you!

The fries have literally never been fresh. Always have a burnt oil taste. Its got to be a training/management problem. They can not or will not read orders. Wasn't even remotely close to the burger I ordered. Lady behind the register handles cards and money, then touches the inside of cups and lids. Disgusting. I'll have to take a refund up with higher ups, on the way to work, just gave the food away after the cup incident.
