Okay so it was veterans day and they were critically understaffed. The host looked lost in the sauce. She kept telling everyone it was 15-20 min wait but it was indeed 45 + for most. Would forget to get names and people were getting skipped. If you are honest people can make other plans. It was 45 min plus because the kitchen was slow. My soup was cold because whole parts of meals were being skipped or forgotten. The elderly lady next to us waited 20 plus min for a salad. A salad. They brought us food but no silverware and took a min to get it to us I just ate most of my meal with my hands. Carson was nice and tried his best to serve well and keep a great attitude. At one point they did have alot of people on the floor but it did kind of look like everyone was confused, no speaking, and no team work. Like busy but as individuals. Honestly I've had better veterans day. Outback needs to be better prepared.

🥩 Feedback on a Less-Than-Perfect Meal I recently dined at Outback Steakhouse with my girlfriend, and the experience with the food preparation was disappointing and unexpected. We ordered a fillet and a ribeye with a lobster tail. The steaks seemed to have been cooked in a press, which completely undermined the advertised 'perfection' and flavorful marbling I was looking forward to. It honestly felt like no real care or 'love' went into the meal's preparation, as the poor quality was obvious. I was particularly surprised that the lobster was tougher to cut than the steak. The manager tried to make things right, but based on the quality of the entrees, I don't plan on returning. I believe in 'love in, love out,' and I didn't see that applied to the kitchen. This restaurant chain's meal prep is no longer true to it's theme. I do not think that they have steak presses readily available in Australia's Outback.

Our experience was affected by the bartender’s volume and constant talking. They were speaking quite loudly and frequently, which made it difficult to enjoy our dinner conversation. After we asked to be moved away from the bar, our experience was excellent. our server was great, and our food was too! the only complaint was that i didn’t care for the coconut shrimp but that’s just personal preference🤷‍♀️.
