- WGWaheed GulDec 25, 20253.0Super expensive place for bagel. This is the only place I know that will charge you $1.20 (extra) to put a little butter on the bagel. This was my first time here, and I thought this was a highway robbery. I can understand if they charge this much for cream cheese, but cream cheese I think they charge over $2.00 (extra). Lol... It could be that the butter is imported from China and this is the tariff added to the cost. Comparing this with their competitor Panera Bread, their bagels are also fresh and much cheaper - and NO charge for butter, and for cream cheese they charge 60 cents. I have been a reward member of Panera since 2004. This could be the reason that today, Panera has over 2,500 branches nationwide, whereas Einstein Bagel I believe has only 700 nationwide. They are more like mom and pop shop.

The service was horrible! The cashier acted like he didn't wanted to be there. The place is too old, in desperate need of renovation. The coffee on the counter was so light that when I added the milk it tasted like dirty water. The manager gave me coupons for a free sandwich to get me to go back but NO WAY! That was my last time at Einstein Bagels. Too bad because years ago I was a regular customer. Not anymore!
