I was one of their last customers that night because they were closing shortly and was not able to reach management until then. When the credit card machine asked for a tip I customized thinking my total bill would round up to $30 my bill was 27 and some change. I was wondering why the girl was so appreciative of my tip which wasn't supposed to be a lot but in the moment I brushed it off I was hungry and ready to get home and eat fast forwarding to the next day I spoke with someone on the phone and their response was that since the cash app that I had used was already closed that there was nothing they could probably do about it and that they would have to speak to the owner I gave him my phone number and never heard back from them. I have a friend that used to work for the same subway that I'm talking about and she said to not hold my breath, that the owner is hateful so... I'm thinking the cashier knew that I wasn't trying to give a $30 tip and yet didn't say anything! I have to chalk it up to my own fault needless to say I'll never be eating there again
