This is a solid restaurant that is the perfect “go to” for a nice place that is not overpriced for the sake of being overpriced, like so many places around here. When I was there this weekend, there was an issue with our order. These things happen: the manager came right over to us and fixed it without argument and with grace. Lately I’m finding so many restaurants are not customer focused and are argumentative. This is why City Cellar will always be a staple in our rotation.

Terrible service. Every waitress had attitude and just seemed to not care. We got put on the waitlist at 6 at 6:45 we asked them how much longer then told us we never got checked in when we got a text. Then continued to say that we have to go back and start at the bottom of the waitlist after waiting an hour already. Once we got sat down our waitress Victoria only came to our table about twice the whole dinner and the actually dinner with out including the wait to be sat was 3 hours. Waiting for our food. Other guests were starting to get frustrated aswell so it was not just us. Terrible place. Would’ve expected a lot better. And just such bad service.

The City Cellar it's a really nice place to eat. The food was wonderful. I ordered the yellow fin tuna with coconut jasmine rice. Excellent! And a pretty large portion. We also ordered the cheese pizza which was like any other pizza, no big deal. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. I really enjoyed the smell of the for wood oven. I would say the only down side is the hard to see menu. It's written small and lite colored so is difficult to read. In the evening, the lights are down which makes it dark in the restaurant. Also, the to go boxes are difficult to put together. Once put together, the lid pops open. I would recommend this restaurant.

How can anyone who has any taste in style or food quality rate this restaurant 4 or 5 stars? Please …. We started our week-day lunch with a disinterested hostess with an attitude. We then went to our table and were served by a similarly disinterested waitress who took forever to bring our food out notwithstanding that the place wasn’t busy at all. Our burgers, wraps and fish sandwiches were pricy and mediocre, at best - in particular, the fish was dry and was a small portion. The fries were lukewarm and (barely) average tasting. Finally, this place, while likely a very cool-looking place years ago, is now showing its age - it really needs a makeover. One last thing- a whole bunch of reviews mention this guy Rolando, like he’s some kind of celebrity, lol - no idea who he is, but I have to imagine that when a bunch of reviews randomly sing the praises of a random waiter, they can’t be legitimate reviews ….
