We spend all day out in the sun and today I happen to forget my water. So when I was placing my order for their new ham croissant sandwich, I asked for a large cup that I could fill with water and let her know that I was one of the vendors that was going be in the sun all day and that’s why I requested a large cup… The staff is usually super friendly and nice but today the lady behind the counter wanted to charge me an extra seven dollars for two large cups that I was going to fill with water which I found absurd. The gesture of giving your customer a cup for water when you know they’re literally going be out in the sun all day, speaks volumes and brings back repeated business, especially when it’s a unique case. This was very shortsighted for them to do. To charge seven dollars for 2 cups intended for water is very tacky and makes me not want to bring business to Panera bread again due to their lack of customer service.
