Nice place with good tasting food. Wait staff was attentive But I felt tricked into extra costs. Wait staff informed us our dishes came with 2 sides. We picked two. Bill shows up electronically without itemization and seemed a bit high. We asked for a Hard copy which showed three added charges. Wait staff says the sides she said “ came with our dishes” had an extra charge. I reminded her she never said they were extra. She replied sorry but they were. I think that is a horrible way to talk about menu with customers.

Went here for a Valentine’s Day dinner with a party of six. I do want to start by saying we really appreciated that they were able to accommodate a last-minute reservation for six the day before Valentine’s Day that was genuinely appreciated on such a busy weekend. Our waitress was wonderful and provided great service despite a very busy night, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor, and there were multiple errors coming from the kitchen throughout the evening. The bar drinks were also very poor for example, the espresso martini had curdled milk in it, which was unacceptable. One gluten-free steak bowl arrived incorrectly with rice in a taco shell instead of being served properly in a ramekin, and there were other mix-ups as well. The atmosphere was lively, but it was uncomfortable seeing how stressed and rushed the staff seemed. At times, the manager appeared to make the waitstaff uneasy, and you could clearly see servers running back and forth trying to keep up with several tables at once. We sympathized with them, because they were the ones handling the frustration caused by repeated kitchen and bar errors. Overall, the service from our waitress was the highlight of the night, but the food quality, drinks, and consistency from the kitchen and bar made the experience fall short.

Management Unprofessionalism & Dishonest Pricing . Rating: ⭐ / 5 I suggested Azteca to a close friend for his birthday, but the experience was a total disappointment. The issues began with the General Manager, Christina Cassamiro. When she brought out a mucho burrito for my friend, I politely asked if she was the person to speak to regarding extra chips and salsa. She responded in an incredibly rude, dismissive tone, saying "no" before stating she would bring them. Instead of setting an example for her staff, she simply had another server bring them out rather than addressing her earlier attitude. To make matters worse, we experienced what felt like price gouging. When the bill arrived, I noticed the prices charged did not match the prices listed on the menu. I pointed this discrepancy out to our server, who gave no response and just stood there silently. I ended up paying the incorrect amount and leaving immediately to avoid a scene on my friend’s birthday, but it left a terrible taste in my mouth. As a General Manager, Christina is supposed to set the standard for hospitality and honesty. I would expect this lack of accountability from an untrained staff member, but not from the person running the establishment. We cut our meal short because of how uncomfortable and dissatisfied we were. I will not be recommending this place again—between the management's attitude and the dishonest pricing, it’s not worth the frustration.
