Nice selection of seafood options. Food came out a little cold, but still good. Service was excellent.

Have been several times for dinner. Food is consistent and good. Service in the restaurant (Amy is great!) and at the bar is excellent! Recently visited and enjoyed catching up with dear friends. Sometimes it can be tough to get a seat.

Initial reaction of the greeting was ok. Typical for the area but not worthy of the restaurant. Most.of the initial service was ordinary. I found it odd asking me about wine sizes. While I've seen it in the past on occasion certainly not the norm. Service overall was relatively slow and not attentive. One would expect more interaction between the service and diner. Took almost half an hour to ask for any other drinks after the 20 minutes waiting to order. The place was packed for a Wednesday at 530pm. Typical for Vero in the spring. The staff was in control and nothing was rushed but again nothing was quick either. Salmon was overcooked even before being placed under heat lamp. That was obvious and it's extended stay before serving didn't help. It was also inconsistently seasoned, at one point it was like a salt lick. The glaze was neither sweet or spicy as advertised. It reminded me of a poor thai sauce I had once in Manhattan. The asparagus was the best item on the plate but only due to it being fresh. It was basically just decently cooked and decently seasoned, way too charred. Potatoes were mediocre. Server came over and helped with some difficulties with one of my friends ordering but again there was little help to others. If you asked you got it, otherwise ignored Delivery of the entres was chaotic at best and with little customer service at all. Yelling a plate name without answering the diners questions as to the side is poor service. One of my friends ordered a drink and specifically asked to have it not served in a martini glass yet it was. I think the intention is there but the attention and execution of those intentions were not.

This was my first time and also my last time here. My husband and I waited nearly an hour for our food and it all came out undercooked. Asked for the manager and all she could say was she was “super sorry.” Didn’t seem like the staff cared very much that we were dissatisfied. Won’t be back.
