  I really don’t like giving bad reviews, I’ve only done it once or twice, but this is the third time in 3 years my husband and I have given this BoneFish a chance and 3 times it failed us 😞 started out great with the funny and sweet hostess from Jersey, the ambience was great, the table perfect, and then came Eli our waiter. Polite but not friendly, he took our drink order, 25 mins later my husband gets his wine. By then we’re both ready to go. When he finally delivers the wine, we said thanks but we’re leaving and instead of saying “So sorry, what can I do to help?” He said “Fine” and when my husband asked for a check for my drink that took 20 mins, he said “You can leave don’t pay.” Folks get ready, there’s a wave of humans out there that don’t care about people or customer service at all, they don’t give a crap if you don’t like the service or food or anything else. They have no patience or tolerance for anything that reflects negatively on them. For those of you at BF who have a great attitude like the hostess and the pretty young lady that gave me my glasses when I came back to get them, thank you and keep up the positive attitude 😊👍

  Our server was super friendly and helpful. The lunch specials are great! Took my mom for a Christmas lunch and we had a wonderful time. Mom had the blackened fish sandwich which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the blackened fish tacos and tomato basil soup … both were excellent! Already looking forward to our next visit. If you haven’t been to Bonefish and you like fish, you have to put it on the list of places to try!

  We stopped here for lunch. It wasn't crowded so the noise level wasn't loud. We had burgers, fries, and salads. Burgers and fries were good. I had the Brussel sprout salad, that was latger than i expected and so good. My husband had a Cesar salad. We ate the other half of our burgers the next day. We'll go back so I can try a surf meal. The pricing varies from meal to meal. We ate of the lunch menu. Thank you Austin for your service.

  We come here every Wednesday night. Make a reservation for a particular table that is confirmed EVERY week. We arrived tonight at our reserved time and there were people at our table. We ere told “well, there are no guarantees.” UNACCEPTABLE. If this happens again, we will just change where we go on Wednesdays.

  I had dinner with friends at this Venice Florida Bonefish Grill last night, 12/23/25. The food was amazing! All three of us enjoyed our meals. I had one dirty vodka martini, very nice. We desserted on their drunken coconut pie. Holy jeeze, its amazing!! Our server, Jennifer, was wonderful. She was super friendly, knowledgeable and everything you want/need in a server. But, as wonderful as SHE was, I have to say that the restaurant seemed understaffed. I mean, 2 days before Christmas in a eatery located in a shopping center, in a "vacation destination" town is going to be busy. All staff were super busy, doing their best, but a lot of patrons were getting nasty and impatient (one man across from us needs to work a service job for a week. He couldn't do it, I'm sure. What a CREEP!). Staff were still friendly and tried to be accommodating. Management could/should have planned better. These people were working HARD. This is not a small, local business, its a popular, nationwide (?) chain. So! We enjoyed ourselves; our meals, drinks and dessert. I would recommend Bonefish Grill to everyone. All was wonderful. Service was great from our server. It was hard to see the staff hustling so much when a few more servers (and kitchen staff, IMHO) could have elevated that stress.
