The sheer dedication required to inch through a drive-thru line for 20 grueling minutes, to cycle past four other vehicles before even reaching the speaker box at Arby's, truly underscores a profound, perhaps irrational, loyalty to their menu. This extended wait transforms the entire experience; the descriptor "fast food" becomes an ironic misnomer. This agonizing queue length, indicative of either overwhelming popularity, severe staffing shortages, or monumentally inefficient operations, forces a paradigm shift. It is now "slow food," a measured, anticipated indulgence. The silver lining to this temporal bottleneck is the implicit promise that the food, once finally acquired, will be a worthy reward for the sustained patience and time invested. This reward must justify the extended commitment required to place the order, let alone the wait for preparation.
I went to Arby's today for a quick, easy drive through run.... you know the kind where you don't have to get out of your car. Ordered several things including an unsweet tea.... and of course, got sweet tea because apparently my order was just a suggestion.
So, I park go inside (there goes the whole point of drive through) wait around, finally tell the lady that the manager gave me sweet instead of unsweet...
And she hands me a cup and says, "go get it yourself" Oh Okay. should I just come back there and clock in too?
Now the curly fries. I didn't get fries; I got the end- of- the- bag crumbs. Like they scraped the fryer and said "Yep that'll do."
But I will say this, the sandwich was actually good. So congrats, you got one thing right.
And the tea? That tea had such a weird aftertaste I'm starting to think they switched to instant tea. like somebody back there with a spoon going, "Eh, good enough."
At this point, I might just start a new routine: drive past Arby's.... and keep going

It’s not even worth 1 star. The food is old and cold. Look at the cheese they had on my fish sandwich. Which should be cooked to order.
