Love the food, the atmosphere and restaurant owners. Always good energy. This is my 2nd time here & I plan to come more often when I'm in the area

Tried Leahi Health and was really impressed. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients without sacrificing flavor. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Melissa always welcomes you with a smile. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for healthy vegan options that still feel satisfying. Yum!
Great food and drinks and fantastic option if you are plant based. We had the Baja and Thai and KC and green monster smoothies. Loved them. Very good healthy food and welcome addition to other square options. Keep rocking it Leahi!

Came around 5:35pm (hours say 6pm closing), but the door was already locked. Someone inside spoke through the door without opening it and said they were closing early, but this wasn’t posted anywhere online.
I had checked the website before coming and even adjusted my dinner plans (left another restaurant), hunted for parking, and made the trip specifically to try this place. If I had known this place were closing early, I would have stayed and ordered everything from my original stop.
I asked if this was just for today so I could avoid this happening again, but didn’t get a response.
I understand things come up, but closing early without updating hours is a real inconvenience for customers. Experiences like this make it feel like calling ahead is necessary when arriving close to closing, but that only works if calls are answered. Ideally, posted hours should be accurate or updated. Sharing this so it can hopefully be communicated better going forward.
UPDATE (Second Visit):
Came back on a different day and arrived even earlier (before 5pm). Same situation—the door was locked while the “OPEN” sign was still up and someone was inside. Photo shows the time at 4:58pm.
I actually came earlier than planned because I was concerned about early closure and wanted to grab food ahead of time—and it was still closed. If I had come back later as intended, I wouldn’t have known until even closer to closing.
I also noticed conflicting information across platforms—Google showed later availability, the website showed “online orders closed,” and calling didn’t help as no one answered.
At this point it’s not just closing early—it’s inconsistent communication across the board (hours, signage, and online info). Customers shouldn’t have to feel uncertain or change their behavior just to figure out whether a business is actually open. If the business is consistently closing earlier, it would be much more helpful to update the posted hours accordingly so customers can plan reliably.
I wanted to eat healthy and enjoy delicious raw food. I thought Leahi Health was the answer. I planned to eat most of my meals there and told the owner this directly.
The problems started when I ordered the Beet Poke. After eating it, I realized the rice contained soy sauce — and most soy sauce contains wheat. I called the owner, Tweet, to ask if it was gluten free. She checked and confirmed it was regular Kikkoman. I informed her that soy sauce contains wheat and that her gluten-sensitive customers needed to know this.
So at my next visit, I asked Tweet what was in the daily special I had ordered. She told me she would not disclose her secret ingredients. She then asked if Chop House next door would tell me their ingredients. I said absolutely yes. She replied, "Then maybe you should go eat there" — in front of seated guests and customers in line behind me. I had just paid for my food and needed to know if it was safe for me to eat. Her menu claims the restaurant is gluten friendly. Refusing to disclose ingredients to a gluten-sensitive customer is not just bad service — it's a health risk.
Regarding her loyalty program: her menu promises a free smoothie after spending $100. I had spent over $200. When I asked for my smoothie, she told me the program had changed to a points system — 160 points required — with no explanation of how points are calculated. After more than $200 spent, I qualified for exactly one smoothie.
Finally, be careful entering and leaving. She props the front door open with a barbell on the floor. It is a serious trip hazard.
