  My friend and I went there last Sunday and the place was packed and loud so we asked to be seated outside and she said ok it will be a few minutes. Then she calls us and says do you want a booth and I said we asked for outside so she reluctantly seated us outside and we ordered then I noticed the mug was dirty someone else's lip prints were on the mug and silverware was dirty and the sprite cup was dirty. So gross. And the hostess had no personality.

  Was looking for a quick breakfast. The portion sizes ar mostly big enough to share! Seated quickly! Jacllene (spelling) was quick and good follow up. Was a good choice. Had Brisket Tacos. They were flavorful! Yum.

  Jessica S made out meal one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had. The food is great and the service is great. very large selection and large portions. I can not wait to go back

  Super curious as to why this place has 4.4 stars. Came for the first time on a Sunday morning. Sat around 11:20. Ordered by 11:45, didn’t see food until after 12:30. And the food wasn’t great. The Brisket Scramble had minimal flavor and was missing the queso. We ordered a side scrambled egg and it was the last thing to hit the table after waiting 10 plus minutes after the rest of our food came and it wasn’t even hot. The toasted yolk southern style was missing tomatoes and never came with the side of breakfast meat. Our server was obviously just here to check a box. No personality, could care less. Never communicated that the food was taking forever. Just let us sit and wait. When half of us hardly ate our food he just offered boxes. Not sure this place will be in business too long with horrible food/cooking, lacking serious flavor and poor waitstaff.

  We went to The Toasted Yolk after church on Sunday. The restaurant was packed. I really wanted pancakes, but the biscuits and gravy sounded good too. I ordered the Cowboy Scramble which was two buttermilk biscuits with scramble eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, onion topped with country sausage gravy (sounds really good, right) with the hashbrown casserole and a pancake on the side. My husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito and the hashbrown casserole. It took awhile for the food to come out. We understood because it was so busy there. When we got our food, mine had grits instead of hashbrowns. I told the waiter and he said, “You ordered the grits!” I told him I have never had a grit and I wouldn’t have ordered them. He took the grits and got hashbrowns. I started to cut into the pancake and saw that the whole bottom was black! Totally burnt! The waiter took it back to the kitchen to get a new one. So I tried the biscuits and gravy. Oh my gosh…the biscuits were hard as a rock! I was not going to send this back and wait since I still was waiting for my new pancake! I’m not sure where the quality control was at this restaurant, but the cook sure knew the pancake was burnt and the biscuits were hard before they were sent out! My husband’s burrito was good. Also, double check your bill, we were charged for the burnt pancake as well as the new one!
