I placed a large takeout order just under $200 to feed five adults, including a half tray of Zuppa di Pesce in her amazing Ala vodka sauce, lasagna, garlic knots, and a 1/2 tray of dinner salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. When we sat down to eat, I realized there had been a miscommunication when I placed the order a few days earlier, I had assumed pasta was included with the Zuppa di Pesce, and we didn’t have any. I called the restaurant right away. Initially I was told there wasn’t much that could be done, but I politely asked if they could check with JoJo. JoJo personally stepped in and, without hesitation, made it right by providing spaghetti for us at no charge. On one of the busiest nights of the year, that level of kindness, professionalism, and customer care meant everything. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about their customers. We will absolutely continue to support JoJo’s and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great Italian food and even better people. I wish I took pictures of the food but it was all gone by the time I went to take them.
