- CSChristina SinghMar 11, 20263.0Most of my feedback is most relevant to tropical smoothie’s corporate office. I ordered a traditional açai bowl and the portion was very small for its value, especially compared to smoothie king, whose bowls are 2 to 3 times bigger, and not to mention tastier. I believe that frozen blueberries were used as opposed to fresh blueberries which furthers my case to the value of the item. I have a family member who previously worked at a tropical smoothie and she mentioned that when stores run out of fresh fruit they may use frozen fruit. This is disappointing. Overall, the portion is too small to be considered a meal, even though it is priced higher than the average item. I would not recommend an açai bowl as a meal instead it is more like a snack. Overall, I have seen a huge decline in food companies like tropical smoothie when it comes to quality of food and price per value. Frankly, I feel robbed having purchased fruit for over $12 with subpar quality and delivery. This is a company I likely wouldn’t return to.

The only thing they had to say was for me to PAY AGAIN in store to the finally get my food. Walked out of there -$30 when it should only be -$16 AND no food… I’m pissed the owner didn’t care one bit
