I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were not friendly at all and came across as rude and unhelpful, which made the whole visit uncomfortable.
I ordered the shawarma, and honestly, it was one of the worst I’ve had. The meat was very dry and had a strange, unpleasant taste that didn’t seem fresh at all. I couldn’t even finish it.
Overall, the service and food quality were both far below expectations. I would not recommend this place, and I definitely won’t be coming back.
Dough Show was such a great find! I ordered the chicken shawarma feteer and it was incredible. The dough is unlike anything I’ve ever had… perfectly layered, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. You can really taste the authenticity. It’s baked in a clay oven and filled with flavorful, well-seasoned chicken shawarma that just brings everything together. The portion is generous and definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be back!
I had a very disappointing experience at The Dough Show in Tampa. After we finished eating and were about to leave, the waiter told us that we needed to take our own plates and put them away because it “wasn’t her duty.” I was honestly shocked. I asked why, since I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant before. She said the manager told her to told us that.
If this is how the restaurant operates, it should be made clear upfront because it completely changes the dining experience. I came expecting normal table service, not to clean up after myself.
What made it even more frustrating is that I still paid a tip. Now I’m left wondering what the tip was for if I’m expected to serve myself at the end.
Overall, this experience was unprofessional management and disappointing service . I will not be coming back.

This place is amazing. We love paying by here when we are around. Is only been twice, but it's been great both times.
The good is so good. Egyptian and middle eastern delicacy.
The girls working are very nice. If they are busy, be kind to them. They are working hard.
The lentil soup is awesome. The shawarma wraps are great and the desserts are yummy.
Wish there was something closer to us in Ocala.
I visited the Orlando location in the past, so I was excited when I saw they opened one in Tampa. Came here for lunch with family. Although this locations is a smaller space with a more limited menu, everything was delicious.
The restaurant is clean and the service is amazing. Ali (curly haired guy) was super nice and patient and explained everything. I expected it to be more like fast food, but he actually came back a couple of times to check on us and see if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything else. Amazing service.
I really enjoyed my dish. These were some of the best falafel that I ever had - crunchy on the outside and tender inside. But I was surprised at how tasty the rice is. You can taste the saffron flavor which was a pleasant the surprise. The hummus and tabouli were also yummy, as expected. I was told that the chicken shawarma meat was well seasoned and tasty.
The only complaint was that my aunt expected some veggies (like lettuce and tomato) in the wrap, like how it usually served. Since she is an occasional meat eater, this particular dish was a bit too meaty for her taste without other flavors to mellow out the meat. Also, in an ideal world, I would make the hot sauce more spicy and the garlic sauce more galicky. But I suspect the flavors were tweaked for the local palet.
I will definitely be back to try more dishes - and take in the dough show! I can't wait to try it :)
