  I thought I knew what great Japanese dining was... and then I came here and truly discovered the meaning of art on a plate. To say tasty is an understatement. The sushi was excellent, appetizers were fun with amazing textures and flavors. There is so much on the all you can eat menu that was a test to their skill and inviting to my pallet that I just going back to the menu to see what was next. Service was exceptional and the restaurant was clean, appropriate leveled music and overall just great. This will be a frequent visit spot for sure!

  As always, I will say that my experience shouldn't be taken as the absolute guarantee and depended a lot in the timing of my visit. I came for the buffet, and it is definitely in the pricey side for adults, but the food made very worth it; the 'Joy Joy's' rolls and the buttered shimeji were especially great. This buffet is the buffet menu type; you order from a buffet menu and then they prepare your orders. These kinds of sushi buffets tend to favor quality over quantity and quick serving, and this place definitely nailed it in the quantity aspect. Sushi roll orders came in 4 pieces each, which makes it great if you're looking to trying a wide variety of rolls without getting full quickly. Compared to other places, this leans more on the raw or undercooked dishes rather tempura dishes, and include other fish dishes like ceviche. The place was has great atmosphere, but I came at a slow time, so there wasn't a lot of people; I almost thought the place was closed for the time being. The appearance is great; the inside is fancy-looking and clean. Parking was definitely the tricky part; this place is located in a small shopping square, so the close-by parking spots tend to fill up quickly, and those that aren't are timed.

  I order from this sushi place frequently through Uber Eats for pickup since I work nearby, and unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. My orders are almost never ready at the scheduled pickup time. Today, I arrived on 7 minutes afree the anpp said ready for pick up and was told my order wasn’t ready because they had a large order ahead of mine. While I understand delays can happen, this has become a pattern. On a previous visit, I ordered a simple California roll when the restaurant was completely empty no tables occupied, just a chef and a waiter and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes beyond the pickup time. I decided to give them another chance today, but nothing has changed. At this point, it feels like takeout orders are not a priority. The service and attitude toward customers picking up food have been consistently poor compared to dine-in guests.If you’re planning to order for pickup, be prepared to wait well beyond the estimated time.

  Pretty disappointed with the serving size of our meals. Ordered the beef with onions (comes with rice and side of fries) and the the volcano roll. For the beef and onion meal, one small scoop of rice for the beef they give you doesn’t make sense. Could’ve at least filled up the spot that was left empty. Then the fries…. They put parchment paper on the bottom to fluff it up but I took it out and noticed only a handful of fries. This meal came out to $45.

  Temak House is hands down one of our favorite sushi spots in Tampa. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they care about quality and the overall dining experience. What makes it even better is the service. Our server Anna Luiza is incredible every time we visit. She always has the best attitude, amazing energy, and makes us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walk in. It’s rare to find someone who brings that level of positivity and professionalism consistently. Between the amazing sushi and the outstanding service, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend Temak House, and if you’re lucky enough to have Anna Luiza as your server, you’re in great hands!🙌🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
