The portions were very small because it looked like they didn’t have any fresh food made and were just serving old scraps that were left in the bins. The guacamole was brown, the rice was hard, and there wasn’t even enough rice to properly fill my bowl. The meat was extremely dry and tough, almost like a beef jerky texture, and it clearly seemed like it had been sitting there for a long time. Looking at the food, it didn’t seem like anything had been refreshed or replaced with new batches. It honestly made sense why the restaurant always looks empty around normal dinner hours. I only ate two bites of my bowl before stopping, and about 30 minutes later I ended up feeling sick. This is really concerning because it’s not okay for food to be left sitting long enough to look and taste like that. Fresh food and proper food handling should be a basic standard, especially at a restaurant people trust to serve safe meals.
