About

Taco RestaurantRestaurant
Talkin' Tacos™ started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

First time to a talking taco shop. So orders are all placed through kiosk with your name and email to send receipt and find you to bring your food. Not sure what you'd do if had only cash, the kiosks only take cards They have an extensive menu that is not English speaking friendly. I didn't know what half the items were, like birria. I got the taco trio of bang bang shrimp, barilla carne, and the standard beef taco. The tacos were not hot, pretty greasy, and came with a bland and greasy taco sauce. I loved the habanero, jalapeño and cayenne pepper sauces, all talking taco brand. The meat on the standard taco was overcooked and dry. The bang bang shrimp taco did not have enough sauce, and the barilli taco had one wad of meat not so easy to bite into. The atmosphere was good, but the music playing was so loud the server couldn't hear us screaming to get her attention, nor could we hear her calling our names with our orders. The server gets auto 12% on card unless you manually change it. She only brought our drinks and food and a box once we got her attention. We cleaned our own table. Lemonade refills are free. I would have been okay if server would have asked how it was or seen us trying to flag her down, as we wanted other sauces like sour cream.

I spent $46 on food and can't even eat. I put in my comments that I'm vegetarian, please do not cross contaminate, and it was cooked over grease from the other food. I asked for no takis, pico or avocado salsa, almost threw up in the parking lot when I but into it to taste meat and onions from the avocado salsa. They remade it and, while this time didn't have onions, it also didn't have the sour cream that I asked for and was cooked in meat, again. I'm staring at food I cannot eat and that erks me to no end.

My wife and I stopped thru today for a quick bite after my Dr. Apt today we both were in the mood for tacos. As soon as I walked thru the door I was in awe and stopped to admire the beautiful mural on the wall. The self serve kiosk to order your food was really simple and hassle free. We grabbed our table marker sat down and admired the space. I loved the neon colors and the music that was playing really made the experience that more wonderful. It took like 10 minutes for our food to come out, and we chowed down. I ordered birria and steak tacos my wife had a shrimp and a mahi taco along with the street corn. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely hit the spot!!! The street corn was super good I highly recommend. We were just saying before our departure that we were gonna make it a point to come back and visit Talking Tacos again. Well Done I love 🌮 . O yeah spot was clean and your staff was super helpful especially the young lady that you had working the door and waitressing.

The food was AMAZING!!! When you first arrive you have to order on a kiosk, at first I was leary, but Victoria took her time and guided us through it. Like the best deal for tacos, IG faves, and other things, she was very attentive and pleasant. While sitting to wait we noticed they had orders on top of orders coming in before we got there, an excellent sign! Lol The wait is about the same as a normal restaurant like Applebee's, but the QUALITY, TEMP, and FLAVOR is worth it. Everything came out really fresh to the point the steam was still floating off. We ordered: Crunchy Wrap w/chicken/ Steak Burrito/ and the Biscoff Churros!!! We had to take a lot home due quantity, but so worth the reheat. Also, Victoria was amazing!!!!

I would say it’s not an ideal location for this place. It should in a stand alone structure. It has its own vibe. You’ll know, when you see the place. Dark with neon, but there’s enough light where you can see. When you first enter, you’ll order at a kiosk machine. Take a number stand and sit at a table. 10-15 minutes someone brings your food to the table. There’s lots of delicious options to choose from. Tonight I had the Birria Ramen and the rest of the family had a Birria sandwich with fries, a 3 taco plate (shrimp, carnitas, and mahi), chips and special queso. The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount and quality you get. Everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and try something else because there was more that we wanted to try. There’s lots of tables inside (but dark at night), and lots of free parking. And it’s easy to locate from the main road.
