  Finally after years of searching I found a taco place that would make me a machaca burrito. If you're not familiar with a machaca burrito it is a Northern Mexico, Arizona and Southern California specialty burrito. It is made quite simply with shredded beef, EGGS, Pico de gallo, end cheese. If you enjoy eggs for breakfast you will absolutely love this burrito. So glad that they accommodated my request and I felt like I was back in San Diego at an authentic taco shop. Well Done! This is one of the rare items that I guarantee you will love.

  I moved to Tampa 9 months ago from Los Angeles… and was very dissappointed with the taco culture here… so much so that I avoided trying El Primo because i was tired of being disappointed. I was passing by today and decided to give it a chance and im so glad i did. Hands down thee best and most legit tacos in Tampa Bay. The tortillas are legit, the barbacoa, chorizo, and al pastor are legit, and you can tell whoever’s making the food actually loves what theyre putting it out. Glad i found this place. Keep up the awesome food and service and vibe.

  Ive been coming to this place for a while now and the tacos are great. Would not reccomend the tortas though. I got a torta today and the bread was too soft and soggy. It tasted like a regular deli sandwich and the fries were undercooked

  Steak taco, fish taco, and shrimp taco street tacos were all phenomenal. A great value for the money!! Humble blue-collar digs, but the kind of food that would cost 5x as much in a fancier restaurant. Quick service and friendly staff.

  I was driving home and l read “the best tacos in town” so l stopped. From the outside l was confused if it was a restaurant or a convenience store. When l walked in l realized it was both. I thought to myself, l have never eaten from a convenience store but we can give it a try. Placed an order of two birria tacos and 1 gordita al pastor. Went to the bathroom and that’s when l was paying attention to everything, the bathroom was horrendous, filthy and my stomach started bubbling out. Went back to the front and l realized that the whole place was just disgusting. The salsa containers, the refrigerator’s door, the tables to sit down. I was disgusted of the site but l had already paid $15 to eat that food. I paid attention to the kitchen and thank God it wasn’t bad. But just eating there made me want to throw up. I felt weird after eating that food. I don’t recommend. The food wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst. I just wouldn’t come back because of sanitary reasons.
