I ordered my food online and went inside to pick it up. There was no clear indication of where to pick up the food, because my subway has a sign hanging over saying “pay/pick up”. This subway did not. When I went over to the counter, I didn’t want to just walk in while there were customers trying to order and pay, so I waited a few minutes. They didn’t even acknowledge that I was there, caring for only the people ordering currently. After around 5-10 minutes, maybe even more, I tell them that I ordered online and I’m here to pick it up. I tell my name, and they look and say we haven’t made it yet. The app said my order was ready, so I went at that time to pick it up. The employee finally starts to get the receipt and try to make the order, which is fine because I’ll get the food at least, right? No! They then tell me that they don’t have any veggie patty in stock. I ask why, because it said it was in stock on the app. They said their manager forgot to adjust the settings on the app, indicating it was out of stock. This just explains how bad the service and management is here! They said they can make me a new sandwich, which could’ve have been fine, but they never mentioned if I would have to pay. I don’t want to say yes, get this sandwich, and instead of leaving (since the store still took my money even though I received no food), they make me pay. I asked if I can get a refund or maybe a cash refund. They said no, because I paid in card which makes sense, no arguing there. The app is also very glitchy, because there was no option for a refund (i.e button to click). So, I am currently dealing with the subway customer service support and seeing if I can get my refund. This all occurred on Aug. 7th, it’s Aug. 13th now. The store said the manager can void the transaction, but she’s not here right now, so write your name and number and she’ll call you. I received no call! It seems as if they don’t care about their customers or their money. Also, this store does not seem very clean nor up to standards when it comes to making their food or dealing with customers. After this, I will not be coming back to this store or any other subway, as I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this chain.l restaurant!!
