Excelente servicio! The food was delicious! I ordered the roasted pork with rice and sweet plantains, and it was truly amazing. I also can’t forget the bartender, who treated me with so much warmth and kindness. Without a doubt, it’s a place to come back for the food and of course the bar. Excellent service! Thank you guys!!!

I was not impressed with the new years gala last night. My friends and I purchased tickets in advance and when we got there we did not receive a face mask because they were out even though it advertised as such , we got to the bar and I could not order what I usually drink because bartender it was only the few drinks on the menu, I did not see ball drop nor did I see fireworks. It was a waste of my money and I am very disappointed from someone that goes regularly to eat dinner with a group of us and we do not want to go back. I spend 55$!!!!

Went to Sal y Mar For the New Year’s celebration - Which was an absolute waste of time, money and effort. Super poor coordination at the door bars were jam-packed wasn’t enough bartender to keep up with the demand no outdoor heaters. Cheap liquor And the VIP Section was so confusing you pay triple the price of general admission For five little trays of microwave food and no real extras for the money. Probably the worst New Year’s event I’ve been to between service coordination and organization. It was supposed to be a masquerade party. They ran out of masquerade masks. They also were supposed to have a champagne toast for VIP and didn’t have enough to go round.

This place is an ABSOLUTELY A JOKE! The WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had. Completely OVERPRICED and WILDLY OVERRATED, with portions that don’t come close to justifying the cost. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else. They hype an “authentic Cuban experience,” yet won’t even serve a single piece of Cuban bread. Not an ounce. Nothing. Meanwhile, even a basic chain like Carrabba’s welcomes you with bread and a soup-or-salad course before the entrée. What you get here is a laughably a tiny portion you can barely see on the plate, paired with prices that suggest fine dining. The disconnect between cost and value is insulting. When we raised legitimate concerns, the manager’s entire response was essentially “sorry”, no solution, no accountability, no professionalism. That indifference tells you exactly how little they care once they have your money. Overrated. Overpriced. Stingy. Poorly managed. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Last night I dined at Sal Y Mar for the first time , excited for the a dinner on the rooftop . Weather was great and our server Isaiah was nice . We started with a porn star martini which was great , crab fritter were ok and for dinner a had the steak . I ordered my steak medium, it came out RAW like dark cold throughout and bloody . I did send it back and ate the ends once returned as it was still under cooked . At the end of the meal Isaiah asked if we were full and I told him no I had needed to go home to finish cooking the steak , he said ok and gave me a box. 30 min after I got I experienced the worst pain in my stomach results to me laying on bathroom floor for 2 hours and let’s just say I’m 5lbs smaller this morning . Still this morning I feel unwell and sad I spent $140 on a meal that I couldn’t enjoy . Photo is from the leftovers showing the steak being under after they reheated .
