TLDR; Service Sucks. Food Sucks. Overpriced. Very pretty location. Drink the mimosas and take pictures. Nothing more. This place looks very nice and well put together. But the compliments end there. My party of 6 arrived at 12:45. The server was so slow. We didn’t order the food until almost 2. In that time only one round of drinks were served. Water was only filled once. There was a couple that arrived 20 minutes after we did who were able to drink eat(and get a replacement dish), check out and leave before we even received our food. By the time we received our food it was 3. A table of 12 was receiving their food at the same time we did despite arriving and hour after we did. The food was borderline disgusting. Me and my friend both got the Latin Style French toast. Hers was thick and mushy almost like a cheesecake. While mine was flat and burnt. The “caramelized bananas” were more like over riled bananas rolled in sugar and burnt in a pan. The shrimp and grits which are advertised as having a Cajun seasoning were too sweet and overcooked. Overall the atmosphere was excellent. The service we had was terrible and the food was mediocre and I definitely feel I would have ate better at ihop or McDonald’s.

We had an 8:30 PM reservation on the rooftop this past Thursday for my daughter’s 21st birthday, with a group of 14–16 people. Most of us arrived shortly after 8:00 and informed the staff that our party was beginning to gather. However, even after 8:30, we were still not seated and were told we needed to wait for tables to be cleaned. We were finally seated at 8:47 PM. By then, everyone was freezing, and only one of the three outdoor heaters were on so we had to turn the others on ourselves. Around 9:00 PM, our drink orders were finally taken. Service was very slow, as there was only one server assigned to our entire group. To our surprise, the menu was completely different from what was listed on the website. When we asked about it, we were told the menu had changed on Monday and the website had not yet been updated. By this time, it was already past 9:15 PM, and everyone had to take additional time to review the unfamiliar menu. Shortly after we placed our food orders, the manager informed me they did not have enough chicken available for one of our guests. What made matters worse was that the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, and it was already well past 9:30. We were then told that our food had not even been started because there were only two cooks still getting familiar with the new menu, along with a party of 10 inside who had supposedly arrived before us. This was simply not accurate, as several of us saw members of that party arriving while we were still waiting in the lobby to be seated. Ultimately, we decided to cancel all of our food orders and just pay for the drinks which totaled $130, most of which were served in plastic cups. I’m honestly surprised we were even charged, given how disappointing the entire experience was and how preventable these issues seemed to be. Because of how late it was most of our group was not able to meet up at another dinner spot which make my daughters 21st birthday a terrible memorable one. The only positive is that our server was very kind, apologetic and clearly doing his best despite the situation.

The Friday & Saturday night DJ only works until 11pm. Loves to hype up halfway through then brings it right back down. Walks away from the booth and lets the song play and barely mixes. Constantly looks at the clock and says how he wants to go home. My Spotify could do a better job. More energy required.

0/10 do not reconmend. Me and my wife just arrived to tampa and our move in is for tomorrow to our apartment. We stayed at the element which connects to this restaurant . Was seated immedately we waited for 30 minutes no one acknowledge us not even a water pour. Training of staff is needed if you are busy train them to take 5 seconds to greet and pour water and inform guest it will be a few seconds. We got up and left spend your money elsewhere.
