  We use to go to Roccos all the time. Food and drinks are always great and staff is always good. We havent been lately because for the amount you are spending does not seem like it is worth it. We went last saturday and Me and my wife got quesadillas. Between both our orders seems like we had maybe 5 tiny pieces of steak. For $21 dollars EACH, we practically got cheese quesadillas... Drinks were good and staff was fine but just seems like the food is never worth the money they charge and thats why we barely go anymore..

  Our first time and last time here. Nothing terrible happened here but also not the greatest experience either. Everything went great till we got our food. I had the nachos and my bf got the wet burrito. There was a finger sized hair (or at least what we believe it is) in the food. Manager came up and asked if everything is okay, we explained to her we believe there is hair in the food and there was multiple pieces, she saw it, took jt back, and came back saying “its herbs not hair” (been too numerous Mexican restaurants and never seen herbs look like that or even mixed in the ingredients before so seems odd) she did agree it shouldn’t look like that in the food so she took it off the menu and he ordered something else. He got tacos and even the taco platter look bland and unappetizing. Manager and server were nice and did great job but for the price we almost paid for (manager gave us a generous discount), it wasn’t worth it.

  First time coming here, but it won’t be our last. We had an outstanding experience thank you. Food was great, but to make it even better customer service was outstanding. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a restaurant that values not only great food, but also great customer service. My waitress named Savannah, actually knew the menu and recommended my wife and I a great dish while providing elite serves. Again we want to thank our waitress, Savannah and Amy the manager for making this a wonderful experience!

  We had an amazing experience at Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar in Tampa! Our waiter, Chris, was absolutely fantastic, super friendly, charismatic, and incredibly thorough when explaining the menu. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We started with the tableside guacamole (so fresh and delicious!) and the wings. We asked for them extra crispy and they came out perfectly cooked. For entrées, we had the Al Carbon skirt steak and the tacos. You can order the tacos as a pair or get the platter with rice and beans, which is a great option. For dessert, we shared the brownie with ice cream, and it was the perfect sweet ending. Prices felt very fair for the quality and portions. The atmosphere is casual but really nice, with great music playing in the background. They also have indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor heaters were super helpful during the cooler Florida weather. Overall, we loved our visit and would definitely come back, especially to see Chris again. Highly recommend!

  2nd time I've gone here for a girl's night and it was still so much fun! Staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Food is timely and tasty. And of course that's not forget the drinks - the margaritas are well made with a fresh homemade sour mix (which I hate to even use the word mix since it makes you think it was a cheap neon green powder and this is actual limes muddled with agave). Definitely a neat place to go for a business or personal trip.
